Oh Lana! Help w/ your Kangaroo Canvas card!!

Okay, because of Lana's awesome use of the Canvas and Just Jeans backgrounds, I'm the proud owner of both! Today I was trying to create this card:

And I got it down to coloring the Kangaroo and I can't for the life of me figure out how she got that nice soft brown color! She said she used Aquapainters, so I tried all our browns, even a couple of the Colorbox Chalk inks. Then I tried all the watercolor pencils that looked like they'd be close!! I realize this Kangaroo doesn't have to be the same color as Lana's, but I *want* him to be that color!!

Can anyone help??

It looks like maybe she colored it with a close to cocoa marker (except for his belly) and then 'pulled' the color in toward his belly with the aqua painter?

The canvas stamp is in the winter mini catalog. Ask your demo for one!

Did you try the creamy caramel marker?

She put that she used markers but not what color, I would say that is Creamy caramel, which when layered on top of itself, makes a darker and darker tan color. Or maybe used the cc inkpad with the aquapainter.
