Default Non-white cardstock for Copics??

I would like to use my Copics on Ivory, which is a good ivory cardstock for Copics? How about other colors?

Thanks.

I use more Ivory than white on my cards in general, even with Copic coloring. I use the GinaK Designs Ivory and it's perfect for that. It's available in layering weight and heavy base weight.

I use PTI's Vintage Cream and recently bought the Vanilla cardstock from MFT as well! Both seem to work beautifully, but most of my coloring is on white and then sponged to a vanilla-y color

Does Georgia Pacific paper have an ivory (at an office store)? I am hoping to buy something local, before having to place an order. (Trying to save on shipping costs). Although, I am curious to try Gina K paper sometime.

Thanks.

SU's Ivory doesn't take the color as well as I'd like. I haven't tried the others, but Neenah makes an ivory that works great. Here's a link.

And here's a card I made recently with Neenah paper so you can see how it blends. Going Vintage.

I use Gina K's Pure Luxury exclusively with my Copics... her paper does not soak up the ink like other papers I've tried and this saves ink.

Papertrey Ink or Gina K have the BEST cardstock around, no doubt!

Gina K's site says the Copic's will bleed through, is that true? Or is it normal bleed through, like on Georgia Pacific paper?

Also, when I look at the colors online, they look like a dark cream. I am looking for a very like ivory. Would someone be able to send me a sample of the paper from PTI and Gina K? Just a small square is plenty. Let me know.

Thanks.

Trish

Since I use Neenah Solar White for my "whites" Neenah also sells a very pretty "Natural White" which is sort of a soft cream color that isn't too "yellow"....
love it!

I agree. Neenah makes the best paper for Copics (IMHO ;)
