Then I thought that the inside looked too blank, even with the sentiment, so I stamped a different penguin on the inside. Then I thought that the envelope looked toooo, you know, white, so I stamped a different penguin on them. Of course, the penguins were all wearing scarves and earmuffs that cried out to be colored.... Then, of course, you can't put in all of that time and not sign them on the back, am I right? Do you see where I'm goin' with this? A simple project made exponentially more complicated because I keep adding these little extras that on one card, take hardly any time, but on 80..... Let's just say that they're done, but these puppies had better become cherished family heirlooms for all the time I have put inot them! I must say though, that I really enjoyed making them. THe stamping. The watercoloring especially. Best of all, I used stuff in my stash. The only thing that was purchased was the set of penguins. They're finished, now for the task of writing and sending....

LOL!! Yes!!! I have learned to start with the idea of making just four. So when I pick a design, I'll cut the stuff to make four of them. Sometimes - that's all I do! Other times, I'll think that wasn't so bad, and make a bunch more.
