Here's a link to the preview catty...
http://www.stampinup.com/ca/document...iew_08_CAN.pdf

I don't think I've seen the actual catty though - well maybe the cover - I think it's groovy guava - I think I read that demonstrators have received their copy.

I would love to be able to look through the full catty though now since I have a few days off before the new year!

Default New SU! Catty online time

Those of us who don't have a new book in hand have to sit tight until Wednesday, January 2 at noon mountain time to see it online. (I'll be back at work that day, and that's after lunch in my time zone. Phooey!)

I looked through the UK catty online today in case it hinted more of what is to come since I believe their catty is for the full year. I noticed that they have some hostess sets that I've not seen before - and also that some of the things we can buy are hostess sets for them (eg. the home simply scappin kit). Also some of the sets that were hostess sets for us (eg. perfect presentation) can be purchased by them. It's interesting.

Most demos have their copies. It is wondeful. I'm so excited about demonstrating the items from this catalog. Tons of great new sets, and lots of variety. Most of the cards on my blog lately have been from my spring catty preorder.

I guess I've just been stamping too long. Almost everything in the new catalog looks similar to something I already own.
Some of the smaller sets are interesting....I like the old car in Thoughts of Father, the hummingbird in Spring Song is nice, One of a Kind will go with some of the DP I have. In the larger sets, I love Pretty Peony and Embrace Life. Some of the Jumbo Wheels are pretty...It's Beautiful and Stems & Silhouettes. For BG stamps, I like Stitched and, possibly, Riot of Petals. They're both very different. I love some of the new DP, especially Bali Breeze and Berry Bliss

There is a punch that makes 3 arrows called My Way, A Boho Blossoms punch (3 flowers) and a new Large Star punch...

the new catty is great. they seem to use a lot of the in colors in the sample ideas. especially the combo of purely pomegranite, regal rose, pretty in pink, choc chip.they are also using the scallop punch alot.there are a lot of flowery sets.there are a couple of border stamps that are pretty

Joan posted a review of her faves here

I like this one much more than the F/W Collection. Less doodley stuff ... and even more coordinated stuff ... rubons to go with the stamps and paper, punches that go with the sets, lovely paper (I'm so impressed with the way the paper has improved over the past three years!).
It's going to take some control to keep within my budget!

I am loving the catalog, too! I'm cutting back on my spending, so I won't be getting a LOT...but still, I think the samples in this catalog are the best in a catalog EVER. Now, I can't wait until I have time to stamp!

It's a fabo catalog!!! The samples are great too. I think they may have tapped into some of the SCS gals to do some of their designs!

The best part is that they must have heard the cry for more variety. There are things for a variety of tastes and no 'Children of the Corn' or weird scary people with no faces!

Hmm...I may actually start carrying this one around incessantly again!

I am with you, I am not to thrilled with the new catty. So far my wish list consists of some of the stamp sets I have been wanting for a while now, guess I will finally be getting them. I do like some of the DP, but that is about all

I really like this one better than the last one, but sometimes I think with me it's the time of year. I always went crazy over the spring minis and never bought things from the fall one. I definitely prefer the spring styles.

I have to admit though, there's only 2 or 3 new stamp sets that I want to buy, but I am also noticing some sets that were in the last catalog, but I didn't give them a second glance last time around. I think this is because the last catalog was such a disappointment, so I didn't "study" it very well, or else they did a much better job with samples or something. Anyway, I'm sure noticing more in this catalog and I cannot wait for Sale-a-bration. (which to me, also looks much better this time around!)

I'm going to be in serious financial trouble .

I have to agree that! This is one of my favorites in a long time too. I can't remember having this long of a wish list in a very long time. I had to call demo support last week and at the end of the conversation they always ask if there is anything else they can do for you. I told her it would be great if I could place my order from the new catalog now. She said that was a very common comment from all the demos and employees she has spoke with.

I Love the new catalog! My customers who have seen really seem to like it too!

My favorite of the big sets (12 stamps - $36.95) is pretty peony... looks alot like Wild Rose, but I don't have that one either and I've always wanted it. The samples shown with the pretty peony set are beautiful

I'm making an altered soup can for my son's friend... do you think the football is in the right place?
