Question New Demo and Stampin' Up! Website

Hi everyone - hoping a current demo with new downlines might be able to help...

I just received my e-mails with my demo number and my password. The e-mails contain a link to what appears to be a Stampin' Up! website. But the very first screen required an agreement with an EFT/Direct Deposit agreement. The next screen asks for my bank account number or credit card number. I understand that there might be legitimate reasons to share this info with Stampin' Up!, but these screens popping up with no explanation of why they want the information or any "introduction" to the website before they ask for this information makes me nervous. Especially these days! I don't appear to have any other options but to enter the information or exit completely.

Can someone tell me if this is standard operating procedures for new demos?

Thanks in advance...

Standard Operating Procedure

They need the EFT/Direct Deposit so that they can pay you volume rebates overides and such. Then they have to have a payment method on file for you as a demo.

At least that was my understanding. I got the same thing when I signed up.

Thank you both for your quick response. I was so anxious to get on the demo website and start looking around when this stuff popped up without a lot of intro or explanation. I figured we were good, but feel better knowing that it's legit!

Thanks again - so very much!

Always look for the https and lock. That's a great way to tell if it's a valid website
