After reading everyone's comments, I tend to believe that if SU Tech Support denies this, it must have some element of truth. (Unless they have been trained to be highly secretive!)

I am not a demonstrator but a customer of mine who is a demonstrator had heard this. I thought i would bring the question to SCS since you guys seem to be on top of things!

I must admit, I am a little bummed! I agree that SU's color palette could use a little more "spicing" up. The least they could do is make a better hue definition between the colors they do have. Ballet Blue and Bliss Blue are very similar. Same with Rose Romance and Ruby Red. Two years ago, there was a much bigger difference in these colors and they seem to be "creeping" closer together as time goes by. Does anyone remember the old Bliss Blue? It was a much lighter, baby blue. Rose romance was much more subtle of a color too.

The cardstocks also have changed over time. The biggest problem is that there is too much differentiation between packs of the same color. I know. . chemical balance, etc. ..but it can be frustrating at times. Thanks for all your comments/feedback, I really appreciate them.

Here's my two cents on the whole 12 new colors issue -- I would love it! I agree with many of you that we're lacking some of the inbetween colors. I do also know that the color coordination is a challenge for Stampin' Up! especially for the paper since it is dyed all the way -- a difficult process to -- instead of just printed on white paper (like CTMH.)

When I read all these posts about hints and ideas about the new catalog, my enthusiasm and excitement begins to consume me! Just a few more days!
