New Catalog
Okay, it's 9:00 on the east coast on the 18th; would someone please put up the link for the new catalog? I went to SU and they still don't have it up (realizing it's not 8:00 there yet). I'm salivating to see what's in there. Thanks.

Apparently, today, January 19th, at noon MOUNTAIN TIME!! Which is 2 o'clock EST -- less than an hour before I go to pick up my DD from school.
What's up with this anyway? Why not earlier?? oopid.
PLUS - I bet I'm not the only one whose demo hasn't even received a catalogs yet!?!

I guess that gives them enough time to transition from the old catalog/ordering to the new one and test it to make sure it doesn't crash when everyone starts looking at it!

I think they're working on the site, because when I click on anything there that involves a catalog, I get the following message: "We are currently performing routine maintenance to ensure you have an excellent shopping experience. Please check back in 30 minutes as we anticipate being back online soon. We are sorry for any inconvenience."
Let's hope this means they're working on the site and not that it's down! Just a little over 3-1/2 hours to wait ... unless we all try to get there at the same time!

Which is exactly what will happen and it will take hours to download just like the last one. Why do we torture ourselves like this? LOL! See you there...

Good question - because it's fun? B/c we love looking at and getting new stuff, I don't really know.
I just checked the site and it's working fine - but nothing new yet.

I would love for them to wire bound them...it's alot easier when the book lies flat. Oh well, guess it's off to staples. I'm just ready to see this baby. I hope it has lots of goodies for me.

At the convention last week it was given to those who attended leadership "wire bound". But I believe that was only for those that attended. My demo always takes hers to Kinko's to have it wire bound.

At least you gals are on the East coast. I'm sitting in Germany, so it'll be 8pm before I can see it. And that runs right smack into bed time.

I got my new "catty" last friday eveing with my order from the old "catty". As soon as I got home I looked through the new " catty" and can not wait to be able to start ordering. I love all the new embellishments and stamp set and the designer paper. I guess I will just have to pick up more over time at work.

Wirebound
If you want to take your new catty to Office Max or Staples, they can do the wire binding for under $4! I get all my cattys done that way.

They couldn't start the transition until midnight Mountain time this morning, because they had to let everyone who wanted to place orders from the fall/winter catalog do so until then. I think 12 hours to transition to a whole new catalog and make sure that the system is ready for the inevitable deluge of customers is pretty reasonable.
Which is not to say that I don't understand how anxious everyone is for the new catalog to be up. I imagine there are a lot of people standing by ready to enter their orders and expedite shipping too! I know I'm really looking forward to playing with all the new stamps and acessories! We stampers are definitely not a patient lot!

So impatient..... can't even wait for SAB. I planned out my club orders and SAB orders too everything planned through April **** unless something sells out before I get to it today and then my world's turned upside down!

Just a few more minutes!
I'm a demo who hasn't received her catalog yet, so I have to wait until it goes live online. Maybe I should exercise some more patience and wait until I get home from work to look at it. <sigh>

I realize this may be a moot point by the time I submit message but even though you can't download the catalog or view it in its entirety as a document, if you go to the individual stamp categories in the online store, you do see the new stamps.
