Default In need of some ideas...

My neighbor asked me today if I would be willing to donate some stamped stuff for a silent auction they are having for a charity.. So what kind of baskets do you think people would really spend money on??

I think I would include stuff that you need to make a set of 4 or 8 cards. I'd precut and score all the paper and then add the stamps, ink and embellishments, then create at few samples and make up a cute instruction sheet. I think it would be super cute and maybe you'd reach a wider audience since someone who is not a stamper could still do it!!! Good luck!

Last fall, I did a year's worth of cards for a church silent auction: 8 cards every month, each month had a theme, and I packaged each month in clear boxes. It was a lot of work for me, but they turned out great, and it was a unique item that did get bid on.

I think of note cards in a box or purse, tags in a pouch. Make a beautiful framed or shadow box item too.

I made a 6x6 scrapbook album that was finished and ready for the buyer to just add their pictures and a little journaling. I used a Stampin' Up! Scrappin' Kit and linen album. It was a big hit, one of the higher bidded items of the night!

the cute little totes that you make from an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper with 4 or 6 cards and envelopes in them would be awesome.
Here are some examples:

cards for the second tote:

I made 24 of these totes for a ladies tea at our church. I put 6 cards with envelopes in each. They were a huge hit. They loved them so much that I now make them and donate to the church bookstore to sell.
Blessings.

For an annual event at church, I package cards in sets of 10. They always sell out (usually purchased by the same person!). One year I did a stationery set with notepads, pen, etc., in a basket and that sold but it was way more work.
