I am making a mini scrapbook for my DH's brother of my children. I am having a hard time coming up with a cover. I thought maybe a poem would be nice, but can't find an appropriate poem Can anyone help me out?
Either about the nephews and nieces or about the uncle. See they don't know him too well, so I am looking for something lighthearted/funny.
KWIM?
I am putting in cute and funny pics of the children if that helps.
Your nieces and nephews are we,
The kids who all start with C.
We wanted you to know,
How fast we really do grow!
Get off your feet and have a seat
Enjoy your special treat.
Ok so that is the best I could do at almost midnight.. I will keep thinking on it.
Come ladies, there has to be some creative thinkers out there..
That is very good! I agree not too bad for being so late ;)
I like the C thing. His name is Chris. LOL So I could do something with a C theme too! hum....
Hey, Uncle Chris,
Look at this.
We the children that start with C.
Have something we would like you to see.
It is a special gift just for you to look.
Mommy made this really cool scrapbook.
well, I made the book and he got it last weekend. As men usually do, he looked at it, said it was nice and moved on LOL! I think he did really like it though 'cause he did o back and look at it again and then passed it around.

Thanks everyone!
Ok so inquiring minds what to know what you ended up putting on the cover!!
I ended up just putting Joy inside hodgepodge hardware on the cover and then a peom about joy on another page. I don't have the book with me right now and can't remember the exact words, but something about children bringing joy into our lives everyday. Something like that.
I am making another scrapbook for their other uncle and am going to use one of the uncle peoms on his.
Rest assured I have all the other poems tucked safely away in my inspiration journal for when I need them. 'Cause I KNOW I will need them.
