Need opinions on my very simple Easter card
Ok, so I need a few cards that don't have bunnies on them for Easter ... and my stamp store was out of the A Muse cross I *really* wanted ... so is this decent? (It's a 4x4 card.) There is one w/o flowers and one with flowers.
Thanks for your opinions!

It was kind of hard for me to see, but it looked like the beautiful sheer dotted ribbon was overpowering the image of the cross. Maybe a thinner ribbon (a centimeter or less, probably closer to 0.5 cm) with less personality would strike a better balance. That's just MHO!

I think its really pretty. Nice pattern on the cross itself.
I myself like wide ribbon but maybe plain if it seems overpowering....
Maybe with the pattern on the cross you dont "need" a pattern in the ribbon?

Cross straight up and down? Or at an angle?
Flowers or no flowers?
I'm really tired today (3 kids sick for weeks and very little sleep) ... so these decisions are too hard for me today!

IMHO - Keep the flowers! I think the cross is good either way. And I agree with Mahloumel: a thinner ribbon would probably look better. But, if you don't have one I think this works too.

I like the cross at an angle. I think it's beautiful just as it is! I like the image without the flower a little bit better than the one with.

I think the ribbon width is fine, but I would try maybe one with out polkadots, just looks a little busy for the occasion. KWIM. Jusy mt opinion though. I really is a great card.

I thought the addition of the flowers was pretty fabulous, and I think I like the cross on an angle better than straight up and down. I forgot to say in my first post that I think the card is very pretty!

Does that paper for the cross come in brown? Maybe sort of a woodgrain effect......
Instead of the polka dot ribbon, how about purple ribbon hung over the horizontal section of the cross - like Jesus' shroud on Easter morning.

I really like "blessings to you" and the cross at an angle with the flowers. I might drop the ribbon all together. I'm sure the recipients will enjoy receiving it whatever you decide in the end... and "Blessings to You" too!

Love it!
Easter cards are always hard for me to make since it seems like bunnys and eggs are everywhere. You've done a great job with your cards!!!! My favorite one is the one with the flowers. I also like the large ribbon, but if you had one that was sheer w/o dots it might be better.
Blessings to you!

I like the cross at the angle. They are both very pretty. I think I like the one with the flowers a bit more. The ribbon looks great.

I like the angle of the cross...and the flowers. The flowers make it seem more like a "renewal". The ribbon is light enough that I don't think it detracts. I think you need "something" up there in the white space. If no ribbon, then sponge some blue sky? Just my opinion...
