Need opinions. . . if you have time to spare
I rarely post a poll, but I'm curious to know whether the slide show I installed on my blog is a pleasant/fun addition or an annoying one.
Thanks for your time!
I hit the wrong button. I'll post WITH the poll now. geeze, I'm such a techno-tard.

Julie, are you an A muse fan, or a designer for them?

I am on dumb dialup so the slide show was constantly interrupted - but I think it's way cool. Love the cards.

Yes, I'm an A Muse Fan. I'm also a free-lance concept artist, emphasis on art-stamping.

Crikey! I know that's frustrating. copying and pasting the url addy above *should* work. I am stumped, and don't know enough to figure out why it's not working for you. I am sorry.

Julie - It's Terrific! What a fun way to see all your cool cards, I've saved it on my favorites! You better watch what you say about being a techno tard... i was half way thru show before i realized if you clicked on it, it opened up in a bigger window where you could see much better! So if there are any others not always in the 'know' CLICK.
Thanks for the cool show!

I think it's great. I just love the slide show and the music but An option to stop the music would be great .

Hey Julie Girl! You constantly amaze me!! I loved the slide show and the music fits perfectly! I don't know why you downgrade your computer abilities, anyone who can put something like that together is way ahead I think! Loved the cards too. As always an inspiration!! HTH Janet

Very impressive! I rather enjoyed it! Your cards are beautiful! My only complaint is that I will now have that song in my head for the rest of the evening.

What a great idea!!! You've given me SO many good ideas!! You are definately not technically challenged like me (see my id name!!) I can't even figure out how to get a picture loaded under my id like everyone else.....I've tried it, I just can't do it. And don't even get me started on trying to load a gallery of my own...... So I bow down to you, HRR!!! Shelly

Here's a helpful link: http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...ead.php?t=7258
As for the avatar, you need a a digital photo. Crop it square. Downsize it to, what guys? Is it 18kb (80 x 80 pixels) (it's been a long time since I learned to do one!)????? I "export" a photo from my iPhoto (I'm on a Mac) to my desktop and it asks me how large to save the file as.
Then try uploading the avatar in your User Control Panel.
Where's the User Control Panel? See your name, next to the "Welcome,____"? Click on that. It will take you to your User Control Panel.
In that window there is a menu, on the left--scroll down to see all the options. You load your avatar via the "Edit Avatar" button--the 5th button down under Settings & Options.
Now if Techno-Tard (me) can do it, you can, too!

Thanks, all, for helping me out and for the kind words! The general consensus appears to be positive so I will keep it!

Julie: I really enjoy your blog and I like your slideshow. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that you have inspired me to purchase some A Muse stamps. Such simple and clean designs, yet sooooo darn cute! BTW, you also inspired me to get the marvy scalloped punches. Just love how you have used them too.

I loved the slide show! It definitely is not too busy because you only click it if you want to and when you do, WOW! It's really sharp and the music is perfect.
