So you know how you can put a piece of cardboard in the envelope to help your embellished card get thru the mail.....I thought it'd be fun to put some kind of poem on that piece of cardboard! Somehow telling the recipient that the cardboard is for the post office and can be tossed, or to think green and recycle - use it on the next card you send out. I need help putting the words together tho! Anyone good at poems?
Thanks!

I don't have a poem on the one I use for swaps - I just wrote "This is my traveling envelope cardboard. Please stamp it and sign a greeting to the other stampers before sending it back!". I've been using it for about a year now and it is fun to see what people stamp!

That is really cool! I send a lot of cards to others who don't make cards so they wouldn't understand what it's for (ie, my brothers), so I want to somehow explain what it is, as well as encourage those who DO stamp (ie, my sisters-in-law) to use it!
Any other ideas?

Be gentle, but here's something you can start with:
This little piece of cardboard,
It goes on every trip,
To keep my artwork company,
To help prevent it rip. (sorry, really bad grammar there - LOL!)
So if you can't reuse it,
Make sure to treat it right,
And drop in your recycle bin
And aid the eco-fight.

Love this!

That's marvelous! You need to send it to one of the stamp companies to have a stamp made. I bet a lot of people would love something that clever to use.

This is great and I like it a lot. There is only one change I would make. I would say a instead of it rip
