Need help....Moving announcments

:mrgreen: I am buying a new house and since its my first and everyone is super excited about it I thought I would make moving announcments. There is a running joke in my family that my boyfriend thinks hes a pirate so I thought of doing something like a hidden treasure map but then I wanted to put a tag such as "X marks the spot to our new home". I am not totally sold on that tag line. Does anyone have any other ideas for tag lines? I am goccoing it so it doesnt need to be a stamped tag line. Thanks for all of your help.:mrgreen:

I just made some "We've Moved" cards myself, since we are in the process of moving too, and buying our first home too!
I used the retired set "Right At Home" for all the cards. On several, I used the SU! arrow punch, and used the arrows to point at the *middle* home of the three on the three row of houses stamp, with the saying "We've Moved!"
They came out really cute!

I peeked at the cards on your blog and they are absolutly adorable. Congrats on the new house and on your husband coming home. Thanks for the great ideas also. I have been collecting a ton of paint chips.

You could put an 'x' on a house from another set (or a drawn house) and use scrappinchick's idea of "We've Moved".

Tag line - "We've run aground!" - don't know I will keep trying - I like the pirate theme its fun! You could then tell everyone "where" you are stashing your treasures!... I think this would be the case of continuing the theme with the wording inside.

I'm really liking the paint swatches card too!!!!
