It is called "Lots o' Pots" by Inkadinkado.

The date on these stamps is 2005, but when I looked through all the 2005 catalogs (and there are 6!), I couldn't find it. Anyone know the stamp set it belongs with?

It is called Perfect Match. I believe it was a demonstrator set which is why you probably aren't finding it in the catalogs.

Thank you! I have no idea how I came to own these. I am not a demonstrator. Must have picked them up from the "freebee" table at our Stamp club meeting.

I think they were meant for demonstrators to hand out as "gifts" or prizes
during SU parties.

Default 2 different Autumn style Stamp Sets ID help

I'm working on inventory for my Autumn/Thanksgiving stamp sets. I've tried Google Lens with no luck.

This is the first one: 7 stamps, all clear stamps.

The largest stamp, the single tree, is 3⅞” tall by 2¼" wide.
~×~×~×
Second stamp set is also Autumn themed with 7 clear stamp images. A wheelbarrow full of pumpkins, leaves & a flower pot, a decorated scarecrow, & sunflowers, are a few of the stamps in this set.

I probably purchased these in either Joann's, Michael's, or Hobby Lobby, between 2008-2012.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

The second one is from Inkadinkado, titled Fall Collection. It is discontinued.

I found this set on eBay and it's clearly a Chinese ripoff copyright violation. I want to buy it from the real designer, and I can't find it anywhere! Does anyone know where it is from or what the name of it is?

I have friends who think they are so smart for ordering dies cheaply from China. When I suggest that these are pirated, they almost say, so what, it's cheaper! These are not people on a tight budget, either. It upsets me, as in so many other ways we are like-minded and close as sisters. I actually use so few dies in comparison that I don't feel the pull to join in when they put in an order. My son is an intellectual properties attorney, so I'm always very aware of these things.

I’ve tried to bring it to a personal level: what if you had a friend who designed the dies you like. And what if the company that sold it was a small mom-and-pop store. How would you feel if they went out of business and your friend lost that free-lance money because too many people were buying stolen designs.

One owner told me he’s hired a full-time person just to look for their designs on Amazon to request they’re removed. Amazon will do that - or did, anyway - but the stealing company just pops up under another name. It’s like whack-a-mole.

A woman at a Stamp & SB Expo was excited to tell me about how all her dies were copies from a Chinese company and she’d give me the names. When I explained why I wouldn’t do that, she said that was fine, but she couldn’t afford so many dies otherwise. Ohhhhkay...

Most of those china dies are crap. I have bought a few that are spelt wrong or don't cut well. Not worth the trouble in my opinion. And beside reputable companies will stand behind their product if you have a problem.

I wish that were true, but in the past 6 months, I have had difficulty with 4 major, well known and supposedly "reputable" companies that have not stood behind their product or it required inordinate effort (such as filing with the Better Business Bureau) to get them to fix their problem. I won't name names as according to the moderators, that would be "unkind", but my issues have ranged from a snowflake die set that arrived so bent 2 of them would not straighten enough to cut; a patterned paper pad that had a big blue blotch on over half the pages and an ink pad that leaked through the cellophane wrapping during shipping and ruined the cardstock and other items in the package. To me it seems customer service overall has taken a hit over the past year.

This stealing of artists’ work has become a big thing in many places. I understand now why Dies by Dave were a violation. At the time, I just knew that he wasn’t making copies of any of the dies, but he was using the artwork to make his dies.
I am into diamond painting now, and the whole copyright issue is huge since all diamond paintings come from a China. I stick to ones that are public domain.

It’s been an issue for a long time in other areas too. A glass artist friend used to catch people taking photos of her intricate fused glass jewelry in her booth at juried art and fine craft shows. Her extremely complex designs would show up for 1/10th of the price on line.

And that jewelry is made in near slave-labor conditions in China. Lots of chilling articles about what goes on are available on line.

A lighting shop that was a client used to sell Tiffany lamps, with two huge sales a year. But Chinese knock-offs destroyed that part of their business; they stopped selling them.

Hello all! I'm looking for a couple of stamp sets that are on my mom's wish list on Amazon. I'm pretty sure that the ones on Amazon are knockoffs and I don't want to support fake stamps. The prices are too good to be true.

I found it! It's called "Gifts of Joy" and was in the 2006-2007 Annual Catalog. The SCS gallery is here.

Glad I could help! I found it by looking through some of the old catalogs online based on the copyright date.

Using galleryindex as the username in an advanced search in the gallery is my top tip. Santa as the keyword and galleryindex as the user would have brought it up . This only fails when there is no gallery index, or some of the earlier ones don't have a list of the stamps...those I edit when I come across them. And few sets pre-dating the site have index cards, only those that were still current when the site was founded.

This is a digital stamp apparently, but does it look familiar to anyone?

OT Threads exist where people discussed issues they’d had with certain companies. One in particular I remember served as a warning, given the number of problems many people had. Of course describing something that directly happens to us is different than posting a rant. I guess there’s a line not to cross.

Another thing people do is search for the company name here to see what people have said. Or google the name plus “reviews.”

Some people have posted asking whether others have purchased from a company they’re not familiar with. That recently happened with Queen & Company, and a lot of us commented very positively.

This is just my take: YMMV,* and I wouldn’t necessarily be aware if rules have changed, because sometimes I’m just spacey.

*Your Mileage May Vary

It looks like it may not be a stamp, but was done by Bailey Maclean, a Canadian artist with an Etsy shop. Not 100% sure though. You can message her through Etsy.
Her shop, which shows the card: Brush lettering inspired artworks by InspiredinkCreations on Etsy

And direct to the card, which she sells - but does not ship to the U.S: Christmas Card/ 4x5.5 Card/ Card | Etsy

It’s adorable - as are her other cards!

Thank you for the heads up on the set. My friend wanted only the one stamp and I snagged it on eBay a few minutes ago.
Personally, I would have gotten her the whole set, but she wanted only the one stamp.
Two of the birthday stamps in this set are long time favorites of mine and I use them frequently...I had no idea they were from this set because I split the set years ago and forgot to write on the blocks what set they came from.
