She does say she "stamped some text on the background randomly using a brown ink"... that at least narrows it down to a stamp.

Don't know if this is the stamp she used, but Simon Says does have this background stamp... https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/produ...SABEgKO3fD_BwE

Again, don't know if this is the stamp she used, but MFT has a typed text alpha background stamp... BG Typewriter Text Background

It is also available at SSS https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/produ...8?currency=USD

Oops, that is the one you just posted.

Said she "stamped" the text. Does Simon Says Stamp carry an alphabet stamp?

Answered before all replies had loaded. Looks like the Typewriter Alpabet background stamp.

Georgeous card!

I'd be pretty sure it's the MFT Typewriter Text background (yes, I'm sad enough to have looked at a column of letters to check!).

I don't have a picture.....but I'm pretty sure SU has an "updated" version of Bitty Boo's which was 2001. Does anyone know the name of a more recent stamp set of small Halloween stamps.

Thanks

I think the latest version is: Bitty Boos Too. I wish they would do another updated version as they are so versatile.

Default Stamp Set name?

Here is the Happy Birthday. Please tell me the name of the set. Please tell me how to search here for the name of sets - is there a better way than hunting through catalogs? basic-black-crushed-curry.jpg

If it helps, I think this stamp was out closer to when I started with the company... somewhere around 2005-ish. I tried a bunch of different google searches (clicking on shopping led me to seeing sets) but couldn't find this one for the life of me! Hope you are successful!

That looks like an Elzybells stamp - I'm not sure the company is still around. There's a web site with the right address but it just comes up blank for me: - elzybells art stamps

Well darn, I tried replying to 2nd Jett and my whole post poofed into cyberspace .

Tip for IDing sets.
For as many sets as possible (but with each new catalogue, I'm afraid the list of unindexed sets just grows) we try to have an index card stickied as the first card in each gallery, with a description including a list of the images and sentiments.

You can search these by going to the gallery search, then click on Advanced Search.
Enter the keyword you're looking for into the keyword field, and then enter galleryindex into the Search by Username field.
Then click Execute Search at the bottom.

This will bring up all the sets (for which we have index cards) including the keyword you have used. Except for some of the older sets which didn't include descriptions...I edit those as I come across them.

Obviously Happy Birthday will bring up a lot of results, but it's probably still easier than leafing through a lot of catalogues.

I didn't need Google on that one, I recognised the style! Maybe they were more popular on this side of the Pond?

Glad I could help craftidomesticdiva!

Elzybells closed several years ago now. They had some fun sets and also made personalised ones - I had a cute dog!

These stamps were bought a long time ago. They are very thin and are sticky on the front. Anyone know who made these or the name of the set? Thanks in advance.

Thin and sticky sounds like See D's stamps. Do you know if they originally came in a CD case? The only thing that makes me think it's not them is that mine are purple rubber...but definitely very thin!!

I'm not sure but I remember TAC (The Angel Company), no longer with us, had at least one set of cute penguin. I'm sure they weren't the only company but it's a lead.

Good job, Diane! I was thinking that looked like an Inky Antics font.

I can't help you identifying the set, unfortunately, but for the future, you might want to do what I do and write the name of the set on each block. That way they always find their way home.
