I have seen these really cute pictures of "inchies". They are 1 inch and can be made into magnets, jewlery etc. Can someone give me a link on how to make them? TIA
hmmmm...i have no link....but they are just 1 by 1 inch. some people make them in a larger format and then scan and print a smaller version. that's all i know
I cut a piece of CS 2" x 1" and fold it in half. Then just stamp or decorate it any way you wish!

You will love 'inchies' once you try them. They are 1 inch square and can be decorated just like an ATC or card. The same simple rules apply as for an ATC. Background - printed or pattern paper, script or other stamp, etc. Focal point - flower stamp, ladies face, printed image, prima, etc. Embellishment - brad, eyelet, sparkly thread, feather, etc. The hardest thing is to get your head around working with such a small surface. But they make up fast because they are so small. They can be layered with two colours of cardstock as a base or use decorative tissue boxes cut to size or even mat board and watercolour paper. They don't have to be made out of cardstock either. Fabric and fimo clay or whatever is your favourite media work well also. Check out Pugs99 gallery...she is an inchie maniac!!! Enjoy
I love making inchies -- and they are a lot less difficult than you would think. Having a one inch punch helps tremendously. Can't believe how many of these I made before I found a one inch punch.
I like to punch some background paper or create my own and punch it.
Then I adhere my squares with removable tape on a sheet of acetate so they don't go flying all over.
Then I pull out all my scraps, things I've stamped before and saved, small ephemera, and just start creating by adding an image and/or word to each one.
When I've compelted a bunch of them I save them to use on cards.
Thanks for all the advice! After reading some of the blogs I finally wrapped my brain around how to make them. Now all I have to do is find the time LOL

Those are PERFECT instructions! Thank you so much! I'm heading off to try making some now. Thanks, Mrs. Noofy!
Inchie Arts has 1-inch, 1-1/2"-inch, and 2 " square products made from museum quality mat board - they are wonderful to work with in any coloring medium.
