Arrow Need Examples Of...

ORGANIZED STAMPING ROOMS!! HAHA!!

I really need to get my room completely tamed and under control, so I'll actually be able to stamp, without losing all of the pieces under my mess.

If you'd please leave a link to your ORGANIZED (or unorganized-- so I'll feel better:P) stamping rooms, that'd be GREAT!\

TIA

Ahhh, that's fine. Hehe.

Kind of off topic; but my aunt is really into stamping too (so is my mom, but hers is like mine-- hehe) and I was recently at her house with a couple of my other aunts/cousins/mom/sisters. ... And I went into her room and started to laugh. It was neat as a pin!!! I asked her how she kept it that way... she just laughed at me.

Hmm...I think mine would also be in the "not organized" section. I usually have to find my stuff and take it to the dining room table to actually use it...and then the dining room table gets covered...and then.... LOL!

I am actually trying to organize it better. My problem is I'm out of space...so I either need to get rid of some things or organize it better or a combo of the two. Part of my space is a set of those wire cubes set up to hold 12x12 papers (I have over 60 colors of cardstock because I used to be a CTMH demo). So I bought a Cropper Hopper on clearance at Michael's and I'm working on getting all my cardstock into there. Once I'm done with that I can take down the cubes and fit 1 or 2 more iris carts.

I've also started a pile of things that I'm going to take to the Ronald McDonald house...old swap cards, envelopes, etc, etc. But it's slow going and I think it looks worse right now than it did when I started!

Ahhh, the classic 'Ronald McDonald' pile is causing a lot of 'space-take-up' for me too!

I, too, am out of space. Right now, I'm crammed into a little corner of our HUGE family room-- yeah, how does that work out? Little vs. Huge. Hmm... LOL. I have big plastic file cabinets with my full cardstock sheets in them, and then for scrap and scrapbook paper, I have a plastic 'drawers' I believe they're made by rubbermade, and there's like 7 or 8 12'x12' drawers. LOVE THEM. Oh, and I keep full sheets of BB in a shelfing thing-- on top of white shelves... next to my wooden stamp shelves (*coughs* I NEED DRAWERS *coughs*) Hehe. I'll stop rambling now...

Smile Have you checked out the stampin' spaces gallery?

If not, here's the link:

//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=3376

There are a TON of pictures here of great stampin spaces. Good luck going through them all--there are so many great rooms. One of my favorites is this one:

Have fun!

Hi Tia,

I do not have pictures of my stamp/scraproom in the SCS gallery but I do have some on my blog. If you go there they are located on the right hand side and are in the last photo album. Hope this helps. Good luck with your room.

Don't let new stuff sit around forever and a day. Put it in its place right away.
Don't start a new project until you've cleaned up from the previous one.

I don't have any pictures of my room, but that is what is working for me.

I too am in love with shopping-- and sometimes put stamping on the bottom of the priority list. After seeing these wonderful rooms, I'll be shopping for STORAGE units and more organizing tools.

Thanks so much, everyone for all of your help!

I so wish I had a picture of mine to share with you. It is called the "toilet flooded look". I'm sure you would all be so jealous of me. And I have to have it all cleaned up and ready for a class in three days.

Can you believe my paper racks were used to store laptops, I found them on ebay for about $40 for the both!!!! great bargain. The stamp store is a giant CD rack and the desk we already had before!

I can not help you. I have a nice stamping space. I just get it organized and the next thing I know it looks like a bomb went off in the room. I someone else comes in when I am not looking and does it. It couldn't be me. HAHA
