Default Need advice choosing my free sets...

OK, I decided a long time ago that Classic alphabet is a must-have for my scrapbooking (and I want to buy the Classic caps to match, as well).

Then I decided to get Sketch It for my second set, until my upline said it is an 'older' set, which means it could retire sometime soon (?) and I couldn't use it then. I would use it to demo, mostly...not for much personal use.

So now I'm thinking about Everyday Flexible Phrases (good for cards, workshops, AND scrapbooking) or Bold Alphabet set (for scrapbooking). I'm leaning toward the versatility and 'newness' of EFP, but I really like both alphabets. Do any of you have a preference for Classic vs. Bold alphabets? Which has been around longer?

Grrrrrr...why is this so darn difficult? This is harder than EARNING my free sets! I would LOVE some input from you wonderful ladies
TIA,
Laura

I'd go for Everyday Flexable Phrases. Lots of versatility and it costs more!

Personally, if you are looking for something that will really "sell", then I'd still go with Sketch It. This is only the third catalog it has been in. There are never any guarantees with any set. Some have been around for a gazillion years (how I wish they'd get rid of Nice&Easy Notes) and some that came out last year didn't come back this year.

In my opinion, EFP will be less of a seller, just because of it's price. Many people will shy away from word sets anyway, because they want images for their cards. The price just gives them another reason to say no. I don't have a lot of scrappers on my customer list, so that makes a big difference to me.

On the other hand, since it is the most expensive set in the catalog, it is a good choice for a free set. If you'll get a lot of personal use out of it, then go for it.

Sorry, probably not a lot of help.

Thank you for your advice...ALL of it helps!

I did see your post and responses, Savannah, which helped as well. I just don't do a lot of floral/flower-type things, so a lot of the suggestions didn't apply. When I do use images, I'm more into rustic stuff...pinecones, trees, wild animals, etc. But when I reread it all, I noticed more this time that EFP was mentioned a lot.

I do know lots of scrapbookers who haven't been 'interested' in my stamping workshops, so maybe EFP with my Classic alphabet would be a good variety. And I'm sure I would personally wear them out
I think I will throw together a scrappers-only workshop when I get these
