Default My basic black is lumpy!

I've only had my basic black for about a year, I guess. The felt is all uneven and lumpy. I've ordered an ink refill thinking maybe it needs that. I don't really use it that much though. But I have to really work the stamp to get a decent inking. What's up with this. All my other pads are ok. I don't abuse it. any suggestions?

Kinda sounds like it's dried out to me. You can reink or try Ranger's ink refresher. Chances are you still have plenty of the dye in the pad, the solvent has just dried up. The refresher will add that solvent back and make the dye "available" again.
