Default Monkey Love store in Seattle

I'm heading to Seattle next week and am planning on hitting Impress and A Muse stores while I'm up there but was wondering if Monkey Love is worth a stop. I can make time for the first two stores but it would be a little tough to squeeze another stop in and wanted to make sure it was worth it. Thanks for any input.

In all the years I have lived near Seattle, I have only driven by Monkey Love
so I'm no help :(
But.........., I have been in Amuse (my brother lives a couple miles from the store) many times and even though it is small, it is PACKED with tons of goodies!!! Totally worth going to!

My niece and I started doing a semi-annual stamp/scrap store crawl 3 years ago – Monkey Love never made it past the first year. AMuse and Impress are still on the list and definitely worth a visit. If you're ever in Kent, the Scrapbook Nook is the BEST! Huge store w/ tons of BasicGrey.

I'd say it's worth the trip. It's a pretty good sized store, which you'd never guess just driving by. Parking can be a challenge sometimes. Lots of places to eat near there, too. I especially love Dick's. It's across the street and south about one block. It's a Seattle favorite for burgers. Have fun while you're here in town!

Monkey Love was my first LSS. It's a very nice store with a very nice owner. It might be small, but there's a lot to see. It certainly can't compare to the larger stores, but I really liked to support a local store. I'm from New Jersey and when I would visit my daughter who lived a block from the store, Monkey Love was a definite stop for me. The lady used to lend me videos to watch and she really only saw me a few times a year. She was always very helpful.

Several years ago a friend and I made a trip to the rubber mecca for Amuseapalooza. Monkey Love was one of the stores participating. We had a good time there with the owner. Naturally we went to Amuse. Impress was also great. We went up to Grandville Island for classes with Julie HRR.....a total blast!!!

When I visit Seattle I always go to: PaperZone, Impress (in Tukwila, preferably) & MonkeyLove! I'll try to check out A Muse next time; have yet to go to their cute new store.

At Monkey Love, I usually buy scrapbooking paper and they have great selection of Memory Box (papers and stamps), Copics, Hero Arts, A Muse, Lockhart Stamps, Nestabilities. I'm a huge music lover, so I always visit Easy Street Records while I stop at Monkey Love. =)

PaperZone is great - sign up for their emails, they often have promos/coupons!

And just a warning; Impress = STAMPER'S HEAVEN!!! The Tukwila one also has the biggest sale section.

If you're thinking of Making An Impression, that store is closed. Owners retired.

you lucky, girl!!!!

I was in Seattle this past August for a few days. My goal was to visit Impress (Tukwila location) & A Muse. If I wasn't in such a rush, I'd spend 1 day for each store. Yes, couple hours is NOT enough!!! I was very impressed with Impress (no pun intended...lol) and A Muse...*swoon*...that place is cuteness central!!!

Have a great time up there! and don't forget to check out Molly Moon ice-cream shop. I know, it's too cold for ice-cream...but they are delish!! My favorite is the balsamic strawberry....yum.
