Yes, it was fantastic to see all those stampers having such fun. Lots of stamping, food, displays, food, prizes, and food. These ladies are totally fun. The shoe box swaps were awesome.

We're already planning the next event.

I totally agree! I was there too and it was great fun! Wouldn't miss it for anything. Thanks so much to Paris and her awesome committee for putting on the best MN stampers gathering ever! It was great to put faces with all the names and see everyones works of art. Everyones shoebox swap cards were excellent and I had a great time making them.

Thanks a Ton to everyone! I can't wait for the next one.

Chris - are are sooo on top of things! I just have sooo much to say so forgive my LONG LONG POST...... (big breath)... here we go.....

THE SCS gathering of MN gals was A BLAST! It was fun to put names with faces!!! The shoebox swap was a success as was everything else. THere were sooo many displays and scrapbooks I didn't have time to look through them all. But what I did see I was very very impressed with!!!!
You ladies are so darn creative...send some of your creative nitch my way...ohhh never mind....maybe it already rubbed off on me!!!

I'm still shocked that I won the Contest!!! I NEVER EVER WIN!!! You guys didn't rig it...did you???!!! I put the prize money back into the cost of the event!

Weren't the hand made door prizes BEUTIFULL?! And the food was delicious! Gosh...everything just went so smooth!!! I couldn't have asked for a better group of stampers!!!!!! YOU ALL ROCK!!!!

Terri will be posting her pictures soon....so watch for them. We weren't as privileges as the NORTHWOODS girls to have them posted during the event !!!

Some things were left behind... just let me know how you want me to get them to you. Mail or special delivery!!!
Judi - pair of siccors
Patti - monoadhesive (not even 1/2 used)
And a beautifull SU! 6x6 brag book. Belongs to either Chris F. or LeAne F
.

Oh ya....LANA...you seemed to be the topic of discussion quit often. Must be cause you are our dear neighbor friend over there in WI!!! And cause your talented too!! Pinefeather brought some of your original works of art and some of us were soooo excited we had to touch, feel, and sniff them!!!!!!

Okay - that's enough for now...I think of more to add later....
Ufdah - I'm outa breath!!!!

However, since I won...I'm just tooo excited! I've posted it here because I'm not sure if everyone saw which card actually won. i'd like to post all the swaps but instead TERRI took pictures of all of them and should be able to post them!!!

Is the image below fuzzy?

It was so fun to meet everyone and see all of your talent in person! The swaps were so great!

And yes the LANA cards were awesome...Thanks pinefeather...we also have to mention that we got to see a CAMBRIA card, and an BEATE card! We had to promise not to drool on them though!

And here I thought I would be the first one on here to post how much fun we had! I was a blast! I would like to thank Paris so much for putting this all together. What a great time! I will start to post the pictures tonight. Sorry that some of them are blurry. My camera sucks and I was just so excited I don't think I focused right on all of them.

Paris & crew,
Thank you for putting together such an awesome stamping event (even though I couldn't stamp )! It was soooo fun to put faces with usernames. I'll be calling about having a weekend retreat for the spring this week! I'll post some pictures soon, too!

Paris, hope your son is okay...lots of icky viruses going around right now. First you win the winter card contest and now your son will give you the coolest mom award for being home at just the right time. Give him gentle hugs from all of us and be sweet...

Default MN gathering

I agree with everyone else, the gathering today was great... BUT too short! With all the stamping we didn't get that much time to talk much!!

Paris, just keep the scissors. It's not worth mailing them. If we have another gathering you can just bring them if you think of it!

Thanks to everyone for bringing such wonderful samples! It was a real treat to get to see some I recognized IN REAL LIFE!

And those special samples that we were not to drool on! Awesome! I just stood there and hoped that some of the creative vibes would be absorbed!

Thanks, Paris, and everyone that helped her!

ufdah - i didn't sleep a wink last night. Kept playin' the day out in my head. It was just sooo much fun!!! But there were a few things I forgot to do.

GGirl - I was suppose to give you 1/2 of the troop cards. Do you still want them?

Gilly - I wanted a pic of you in your SU! apron and pins. I don't think I got one.

Paul Douglas - I forgot to get your autograph. Oh ya...that's right...it was the ST.Cloud gals who saw you and forgot to get your autograph (snicker snicker)

You girls should of had Paul stamp a card real quick. WE could've sold it on EBAY for a couple $100s and split the profit! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!!!!!!

okay - gotta go check to see if terri posted more pictures!

AWESOME!!! Yes, that is a perfect way to describe our MN gathering!!!! It was so nice to put faces with all the screen names. I am hoping that I will be a better participant and just not a lurker any more!!! You girls all made my day!

Paris and TEAM Organization you did a GREAT job on our MN event!! No one could have asked for better, we had the BEST!!

Thank you to everyone who so generously shared their display boards and ideas! Pinefeather thank you for sharing all your special extra treasures with us! I hope none of us drooled too badly on any of them. You did let us touch them though!!!!

The shoebox swap was the BEST!! What a super way to swap!! You all had such wonderful, beautiful cards for us to make!!

Yes there was just too much for us to remember, next one we will get a few more things crossed off our list.

I think I am finally recouped enough to enjoy everything that has been playing over and over in my brain. Good thing I took pictures!

Paris I was one of the many who voted for your card! It was just so pretty and angelic. You DESERVED to be the winner!! Everyone's cards were super though, so it was hard to be able to just choose one!

Have a wonderful week!
Gilly

I don't know how I missed this thread for so long. I had such a good time with all of you ladies. Paul Douglas should have done a story on us. Oh, that's right he's a weather guy. Does their station have a tip line for stories? Ours should have made the news for sure!

I wish we would have got a group shot as well. I didn't take people photos and I wish I would have. I forgot. Too much excitement.

Terri, I love your reindeer card! Too funny.

Paris, the contest wasn't rigged. Your card was beautiful and deserved to win. I wish you would have kept the money and got yourself some more stamping goodies.

Thanks to all who came and made it such a great time. Looking forward to the next one.

Kathleen

Oh I'm so slow at checking things out....can't help it though. The day was so much fun and I'm still on cloud 9.
Thanks so much to everyone for this great event.
Thanks to Pamela and Heather for letting me ride along....this small town girl gets scarred at the big town traffic.
I can hardly wait to do this again....a longer time together would also be great.
I feel as though I can't thank you all enough.
Hope to see everyone again soon.

I had a great time too. I'm disappointed I forgot my camera - I rushed out of the house after my stamp camp and left it at home. I hope to see more pictures posted.

Thanks goes to Paris and her team of helpers for putting on a wonderful event. It was really enjoyable and fun to put names to faces.
