Default MFT Inks

So - I just purchased a whole bunch of MFT die inks. They seem nice for what I've used them for so far but I'm so frustrated because it seems like everytime I ink up the stamp I get ink on my blog and if I don't notice it - then the ink from block gets on my card!

I've done the 'turn the stamp over and pounce ink on top' routine but I'm still getting ink on block. Anyone else have this issue? Is the stamp pad just not raised enough?
UGH!

I used to get the same thing using "Vivid" inks. No matter what I did ink got everywhere.

I think that can happen no matter what kind of ink you use, depending on the thickness of the stamp. I have mainly clear acrylic unmounted stamps, and so I am always very careful when inking, and check my block for ink before I stamp. I keep a baby wipe handy to wipe off the ink if it gets on the block.

I have found them to be Very juicy and I need a lighter touch when inking up. You won't need to press down much at all.
