Do you have any art supply stores where you are? Check there. If your Michael's does framing they should have mat board where the framing dept. is.

We have a Hobby Lobby, they have mat board cheap (around $5 per sheet -- ~3x4').

Otherwise, try Dick Blick www.dickblick.com
or Light Impressions www.lightimpressionsdirect.com

Default hobby lobby

I have yet to use mine, but I got it at hobby lobby. It was a bag full of scraps (big scraps) for $2.00. It has tons of matboard in there of different colors. I got the idea from someome here on SCS to ask them if I could buy their scraps. It was a good buy! Now, for me to use it.

Default Matboard

After spending a lot of money on this stuff at framing places and Michaels I found some pieces that are easy to work with in the frame dept. at our big JoAnne's Fabric Store. There they were in a little crate on the floor. I guess they are pieces that are left over but there was nothing wrong with them and they were all about 8 1/2 x 11 and in colors that even match SU's cardstock. Carol

I ordered my matboard online at framingsupplies.com. I got a variety pack of 20 16x20 sheets for about 30.00 including shipping and handling. The people are very nice there and I will definitely buy from them again.
