I ordered Shapes and Shadows and can't wait for it to arrive. It is everywhere in the catalog and such a versatile set. I decided against the others but the more I think about some of them, the more tempted I am to just bite the bullet and call my demonstrator. How many stamps do you really need? Is that a rhetorical question?

ROFL Kimberly!! Good one!! (I'll have to mention it to DH, we're buying a house in the next couple of weeks and it's about 900 sq feet larger than my current residence...so I need another 900 sets! Good planning!!)

The only set I don't already have is Something to Celebrate.....so guess what I'm getting!

And I agree with mama....S&S is a must have! I got it in my starter kit I was so sure of that! LOL!!

Gina,

If you do a lot of baby cards, I don't think you can beat the baby carriage in Something to Celebrate! It is the only reason I ordered the set, but I have found several cards in the gallery since then that use the other stamps in this set, and they are great too. This set is really my style, and I realize that it may not be everyone's. Just my 2 cents!!

I purchased Sincere Salutations, and am considering Stipple Celebrations. There are a lot I want out of the spring catalog as well, so I need to break that up over the next few months. I love the new alphabits one with the punches.

I'm going back and forth on Stipple Celebrations, and already have Lovely As a Tree. Summer by the Sea has been on my wish list for many months now, but always got bumped because I just couldn't swing the price. I was SOO happy to see that it's on sale! Definitely getting Sincere Salutations as well, and no thanks to you ladies and your samples I've been converted and am also ordering Shapes and Shadows.

Guess the stuff I want from the Spring Mini is going to have to wait till my birthday!

I am getting Sincere Salutations, Shapes and Shadows, Stipple Celebrations and Summer by the Sea.

And of course, now that I have seen some very wonderful cards done with Lovley as a Tree, I am thinking of getting that one as well! Something to Celebrate is not really my style, so am passing on that one!

I already have the Sincere Salutations, Lovely as a Tree (great for guy cards), and Shapes & Shadows (LOVE this set!).

So, of course, I had to get Stipple Celebrations, Summer by the Sea, and Something to Celebrate - couldn't pass up the GREAT savings!!!

I have liked Stipple Celebrations, but always found something else to spend my money on. Summer by the Sea is a really pretty set - not one I would have outright bought, but at 50% had to get it. It will be great for beach scrapbook pages and to send cards to my friend who lives in Myrtle Beach. Something to Celebrate - I am hoping this set replaces the Announcement set. I never use the Announcement set. I like the style of StoC a lot better.

Of course, I have seen CUTE cards done with all of the above sets!!!!!

I'm with you ladies! I wasn't going to any, not even sicnere salutations, becase I own most of the other saying/greeting stamps! I am getting Sincere slautations and Summer by the Sea...not my usual style, but it's so pretty and since I love the beach, I figured I will use it

I am getting lovely as a tree. After seeing the amazing samples in the gallery here, I can't resist. I think I will case one of them for our Christmas card this year. My birthday is in April anyway so I figure this can be my early birthday present.

Forgive me in advance if someone has already asked this because I have not read the whole thread... BUT do you think any of these sets will be retired because they were offered at 50% off? That is my biggest hesitation with them.

Stipple Celebrations, Summer by the Sea, Lovely as a Tree and I HAD to have Wonderful Words although they are not on sale. Too many great cards on here with it. I have wanted Lovely as a tree since I went to my first Stampin Up party and now can't wait to get it!

Ordered Sincere Salutations, Shapes and Shadows, and Summer by the Sea. Was going to order Summer by the Sea at a later date (my wish list has it listed for about June) but at 50% off had to get it now. Will just have to find something else to take its spot in June

I just signed up to be a demo so I am getting Sincere Salutations with my kit. I have always liked Stipple Celebrations..so I have to get that. And I just LOVE Shapes & Shadows..so that's a definite! I'm wavering back and forth on Something to Celebrate...but for the price I'll probably go ahead and get it. I don't like Lovely as a Tree at all...not my style I guess and neither is Summer by the Sea.

Wow...wish I could have bought them all (oops except Stipple Celebrations..just not my bag)...but I already had! I bought Sincere Salutations...and a couple of others for gifts...an amazing gift for a wonderful price! And as far as what to do with them...just go to the galleries and you won't be able to live without them!

I bought Shapes and Shadows and Sincere Salutations. I posted a similar thread because I couldn't decide between Shapes and Shadows and Stipple Celebrations - after reading everyones input I decided Shapes and Shadows would be more versatile for both cards and scrapbooking.

I thought Sincere Salutations was a really beautiful set for cards. Simple but elegant.

I admit, I don't know how to control myself around a great deal! I already have Sincere Salutations from being a SU demo, but I decided that I need all of them, so I got 'em all. I am dreading the bill when it comes, but at least I can write it off as a business expense!

As a demo, I already had Sincere Salutations and love it. I also bought Summer by the Sea a few months ago. I bought Shapes and Shadows because it is so versatile. I also got Something to Celebrate. I will buy Lovely as a Tree and I don't like Stipple Celebrations. My SIL ordered it, though, so I can just borrow it if I really need it.

My sister had a workshop today and I ordered Stipple Celebrations, Shapes and Shadows, and Summer by the Sea. I spent waaaaay to much money on other items , and now I think I should've gotten Sincere Salutations too!

All of them!

Don't you think they would make great birthday or friendship gifts? Where else can you get something so fun for 10-15 bucks?
I will just pair them with a few sheets of cut cardstock & envelopes, tie it up nicely with ribbon and voila!

Now, don't ya wish you were my friend!!!

I received my Something to Celebrate set on Saturday and made 10 cards that night, all different. I wasn't too excited about getting it before but I am so glad I did.

I bought Sincere Salutations and Lovely as a Tree (been on my wish list two years now!) earlier this month. Knowing me as she does, my demo swore I would love SS and have to have it, and darned if she wasn't right! I'm also planning to order Summer By the Sea before month's end. The others just aren't my style.

I didn't have any of these, but I figured I had to get them all because you can't beat that price. I said if I ended up not liking or using a set then I could eventually trade it =)

I alreday have Sincere Salutations and Lovely As A Tree (great set - don;t pass on that one!). I plan to purchase Summer By The Sea, Something To Celebrate, and Shapes and Shadows. I should just break down and buy Stipple Celebrations, too....just because it is cheap. I won;t mount the sets until the retired list comes out - and then I will only mount them if they are going to be in the new catalog.....otherwise I will use as incentive items. I might order an extra Sincere Salutations to use as an incentive, too....just because it is so cheap!

I got Sincere Salutations, Lovely as a Tree and Summer by the Sea. SS was an easy choice; the other two I got to help me branch out (no pun intended) because they aren't my usual style. I thought S by S would help me work on my watercoloring and LT would have potential for men's cards. Shapes and Shaddows and Stipple Celebrations didn't move me. Something to celebrate had too many baby/wedding connotations for my use at this point in my life!
