This is one I made for my DH for Valentines day. He loves car racing and there was no stamping. I got all the stickers from my local stamping store. Generated the sentiment on the computer. This way you only have to make one of a kind if you like.

Default Here's a few--plus what I think made them masculine

Happy Birthday... to one of a kind: http://www.vexedangel.com/gallery/Cards/cow
I got the idea for this from somewhere on SCS--a few different cards played on this theme, but I can't remember who. Used a Michael's $ stamp and some DCWV paper. If he's a farm-boy, this would be cute. Or substitute the idea with any other stamp remotely related to his interests...

King of My Heart: http://www.vexedangel.com/gallery/Cards/king
I altered a playing card, used BG, and did some stamping with some stamps from a little bit of everywhere (Rusty Pickle,Scrapbook Takeout that I remember). If he likes poker or playing cards, then this would be fun.

masculine happy birthday: http://www.vexedangel.com/gallery/Cards/cards_001
I gave the one on the right to my boss (a guy.lol)... No stamping, though. The colors, boxy slide mount, and torn edges made it more masculine.

b, r, & w happy b-day: http://www.vexedangel.com/gallery/album02/b_day
I made this one to resemble the SU! stamp, but used stickers. Still think it works for what you need, though... The colors and funky sentiment made it appropriate for a guy.

limited supplies b-day card: http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=35051
The one on top worked well for a guy... nature things, masculine colors, and staples made it manly.

Default search for Father or Dad

I've found quite a few nice examples in the gallery searching for Father and Dad and Son.

Here's my "man" card for this year. I change the sentiment to fit the occasion- it's so easy and looks great IRL....

The only one that I have is my dinner jacket card with is made from Bazzill card, in this photo it doesn't have the buttons down the front ( I ran out ).

Hi Misha - have been trying to find a template for this one - knew I should have asked you!!

Sweet Miss Daisy makes awesome man cards, as does Darleen Stamps. I have a few in my gallery as well.

There is always Harley paper (or other guy patterned paper) to make cards if you don't have any stamps that work. I have a hard time as my husband does not do golf or any of the sports they have stamps for in the catalog.

(The stamp & sentiment would need to be changed, but the sketch & the wire embellishment would work!)

(here you could change the flower brads to something else - stars?)

(how about a manly "pixie pouch"? - manly next to pixie sounds a bit oxymoronish!)

thanks, everyone, for posting - i got some great ideas from your cards!!

Sorry if this isn't proper SCS etiquette (posting someone's else blog up) - still working my way around here - but I thought this man card by Lauraly posted on her blog a couple of days ago was just too good not to be mentioned here - and too useful. I can't think of any man that wouldn't like it!

PS - sorry - not been here long enough to post a URL - lol!

What a fabulous card. The colors and detail are "right on".

I agree their should be a male cards category. But, you can use lovely as a tree, bronc buster, wanted, some of the amuse stamps aren't expensive and you can have fun with that, cars, sports, nature scenes. Think outside the box. I had a hard time at first but just think about what the man you are making your card likes, golf, sailing, motorcycles, relaxing and watching tv. It doesn't have to be a SU set you use. I wish I had a blog 'cause my gallery is not up to date and I have done a few male cards lately. I think if you keep it to the darker hues you might have more luck. Sorry for the long message.
