Default Making gift cards....

How is everyone keeping their gift cards closed? I just made one this morning, and it seems to like to flip open somewhat. Any secrets?

You could tie a ribbon around it to keep it closed. I have also flipped up the bottom of the card stock, gluing just the edges so the card could be slipped inside that bottom edge.

Smile Here is a different pattern......

This card holder is made in a "tag shape" with a hole at the top for ribbon. You can either hang it on the Christmas tree or mail it.

Inside I put in a bookmark and a gift card. But you could just eliminate one flap and write on that side.

how about a tiny piece of velcro. My friend gave me little tiny 2 piece circle velcros where you just peel the back and stick em on. I think she said she got them at oriental trading.

SC101's pocket card this week makes a great gift card and here are some ways the clever players held it closed.

Roxie, THANKS for the links to the other gift cards and how they solved the dilemma of the opening flap--that was SO sweet of you! The pics gave me some great ideas, so I really appreciate it!
