Default making basket for auction... what to do with this paper?

I just know all of you will have ideas for this....
I am making a basket to donate to a benefit. One of my coworkers husband has pancreatic cancer. He is 48. the benefit is in 8 days. I am making a basket called "Janesville Pride" as they live in Janesville, Iowa and their kids graduated from that school. This is a LITTLE town and my son is a teacher in the school. Last year I had 25 sheets of paper made up for the school and their mascot. I would like to use this paper to make things for the basket. I am making a 12x12 frame with graduation embellishments and a PROM wordbook. What else can I do? Any ideas are appreciated! I won't be able to get any tee shirts or anything because they are not available. Any thoughts?

I would just put a couple sheets in a page protector and put them in the basket. Maybe the buyer would want to create their own project with it.

I've made a lot of these little skinny-mini notebooks using Michelle Wooderson's directions. They would be cute using your newspaper print.

Michelle used the skinny notepads that Papertrey sells, but you can buy junior-size legal pads and have them cut in half at Staples or Office Depot. Here are several blog posts showing how to make them. Scroll down to see several ideas.
