Sticky Strip/Red tape or mod podge work well. If you have the ATG gun that is strong enough, but I wouldn't trust the snail/mono adhesive. To get around the flag you can measure and cut out a rounded rectangle so you can slide the paper into position from back to front. HTH

I cut my background paper 4 x 12, this goes around the mailbox and has just enough overlap on the bottom. I mark where the flag is, and punch a whole - I think 1/2" hole punch. Then I cut a small slit at the hole, just to get it over the flag when I slide it on. Does that make sense?

Or you can just pop the flag off (brilliant, I didn't even think of this!)

i will have to try this.. my "brilliant" idea of popping the flag off , not so great.. i mean it worked.. but the flag doesnt snap back in the greatest so after moving the flag up and down a bit it falls off :P

but your idea seems great so i will do that.

thanks for the tip!
