Magenta cardstock: what colours do you like with it?
In preparing for all the new colours, I'm trying to use up my old colour stock. I have a lot of magenta card stock, and I'm looking for some suggestions of striking or pleasing colour combinations. Usually I use it with black and one of the blues. Anyone have another idea?

I like night of navy, basic black, going gray, and sometimes pretty in pink. My very faorite is night of navy though.
Try laying the magenta with various colors of cardstock. Leave it for a few minutes and then look at it.
Experiment that way to see if you come up with a color combo you like that just seems to fit the stamp set you are working with.

yeah I agree with Amy. I just used it with sage shadow! I only ever had 3 sheets from a multipack. In almost 2 years of stamping I am now down to a half sheet!

Taken with Teal and Summer Sun. I know it sounds bright, but I really love the results. I got the idea form one of the spectrum pads which actually has those color combinations.
I also like monochromatic stuff with MM cardstock and ink and USV or USW.
Happy stamping!

I just received a card from regionals using magenta and mint melody. Now I've been using it like crazy (also a good way to get rid of 2 retiring colors)

I'm trying to use up my retiring cardstock, too...
At my workshop last night I paired Mauve Mist with Marvelous Magenta and it was a nice look.
I like the other ideas given, too - looks like I'll be "playing" more this afternoon!

For a bold bright look, use it with Summer Sun, Green Galore and Lovely Lilac.
