So when I first got this set when it was 50% off, I thought "yeah, great....a man set." I hardly used it for like the first six months. Now, two of my 3 Christmas cards are made with it and I use it all the time. Wassup with that??? Anyway, what's a set you got that has quietly snuck up to heavy usage status?
I actually think Heartfelt Thanks has snuck up on me. I bought it because it was pretty, and I find myself turning to it a lot more than I thought I would.

I got Bitty Bolds by mistake (had meant to get Bitty Boos), and I thought I didn't like it, but have ended up using it all the time for cards. Funny how that happens. Don't know how I'd could live without it now!
I have to agree with you on the Lovely as a Tree set Emily. I never used it at all when I started stamping a year ago. Now I am using it with every other card I make it seems like, and with all kinds of techniques (resist, faux silk, etc.). Just goes to show how versatile a set can be - and how fun. Great post!
I want Lovely As A Tree - I've seen such beautiful cards made with it. Are your pics in the gallery?
The two sets I use constantly are:
Snowflakes (use the littlest image the most)
Itty Bitty BG's (after reading a post by Jeanne saying that she used that set all the time I decided maybe I'd better put mine to use and haven't stopped since. I like the sort of vintage look you can get with it.)
I had to have Lovely as a Tree and found I never used it. Traded it. However, I love Heartfelt Thanks -- it is my most used set by far. My second choice would be Along the Same Lines. Just love that set!

I bought it when it was on sale and STILL HAVEN'T mounted it yet. Just haven't found the urge to use it. I know it makes pretty cards - but I just can't get into it - but couldn't pass up 50% off!

For me it was Paint Prints. I got it at SAB because it was free and I'd earned it, but I wasn't impressed. Now it's one of my most-used sets (next to Lovely As A Tree ;) )!

I agree I thought I'll buy lovely as tree cause it's 50% off. And I know that it is my most used set. I thought same as you Emily a man set, I think 40% of my Christmas cards are made with that set.
Mine is probably shapes & shadows. I really didn't care much for it, but when it went on sale, I said what the heck, and I do use it more consistently than any other. There are so many cute samples in the gallery so that helps.
Three top sets for me are lovely as a tree, paint prints and snowflakes- if I was stuck on an island and could only take three sets- that would be the ones! lol

the one that hit me over the head though was Terrific tulips- the set just looks so ugly in the book (not the sample - the actually images) This set can be used for absolutely any occassion.

It was sometime last spring - right afterI bought mine.

For me it was one of my first SU sets which I had on my Christmas list so it's another one for Lovely as a Tree.
I've also used Watercolor Garden a lot and of course those Itty Bitty Backgrounds are in my opinion a must have. When a card looks lacking those little speckles will always finish it off.

this is one of the first sets I saw demo'd and I love it! I finally broke down and ordered it for myself. It comes tonight woohoo! I am doing a one sheet wonder stamp camp using it so I'm glad to hear you think it is good for any occasion too!
I HAD TO HAVE Lovely as a tree, and while it is mounted, I've only used it once, on my mom's notebook cover for holiday shopping! I'm trying to figure out how to use it in January for my workshops.... off to the gallery for inspiration!
I also bought Lovely as a Tree during the 50%. I use it all the time too. I love it for anything. I make candles and use it in workshops. I do a winter card on glossy by embossing the trees in irridescent EP and brayering over the top with the spectrum pad in blue. One of these days I'll get my gallery updated. I make the card and mail it out.
