LOVE stamping

I love stamping and scrapbooking. I cant remember the last time I actually bought a card. My mom and sister do it with me (though not as often as they used to) so I decided to become a demo mostly for the discount. I have done one party and just made my the rest of my months on my own, but now I am wanting to do some camps, workshops, SOMETHING not even so much for the money, but for the fun and socializing. I am in a super small town, I know there are a few scrapbookers and stampers here, but I am really at a loss of where to start. Any ideas? lol

I hear ya ... I am a stamper to help support my own stamping habit, but it is
nice to make a few bucks too. I have a small group of gals that are wonderful
and it makes a nice girls night out for us to stamp together and chat. They all love to stamp. Not all but many do no stamp on their own, so they don't order. That is where I depend upon my workshop fees, so I can turn around and order new supplies for the next workshop. I usually only do one or two workshops per month. - Not a great business practice to make money, but it works for me. I have some wonderful ladies that enjoy my cards, I get to buy new stampin' products and I have a room full of stampin' and scrappin' materials. Works for me! I do need to try and push myself outside of the box a bit and see what happens.

I don't have a lot of helpful tips for you since I am there too, but good luck and enjoy your stampin'!!

Maybe drum up some interest by posting flyers about classes or workshops in your local grocery store, churches, or other businesses around town.

Would you post ones printed off the computer or would you make handmade handscrapbooked flyers? I appreciate your suggestions so much and I have secured the PERFECT location. GOSH I am so excited.

you could do either. Maybe putting your phone number at the bottom multiple times so people can take one off if they are interested.
