They have really cheap ribbon at my Joanns--grosgrain is only $.50! Plus, I always seem to have at least one 40% coupon

This site is EXCELLENT. I have several friends and we are talking about getting a $100 order together. Since many of these spools are 25 yards, we figured we could easily split it 4 or 5 ways. This is the cheapest way I have found to buy ribbon.

Wal-Mart has tons of gingham ribbon. Not the dinky little stores, but the super WM's. JoAnn's and Michael's also has great ribbons.

I got the most unbelievable bargain on ribbon last week at Pat Catan's. I had just finished perusing the scrapping and stamping aisles, and said to my daughter, "let's go over here and look for ribbon". Lo and behold, to my left, was a huge display filled w/ribbon and other ribbon related doo-hickeys, and it was FILL A BAG FOR 10 Dollars!!

I couldn't believe it! Some of the ribbon was 25 or 50 yard spools. Grosgrain, sheer, wired, you name it.

It was a BIG BAG, too. When I got home, I just had to count it all up, and I had 170 (yes, one hundred and seventy) rolls of ribbon! Oh, and since I got an employee discount, I got the bag for 9 dollars, instead of 10.

That was my bargain of the century. I gave a bunch of it away to my sister and neices, but even so, I have enough ribbon to last a very long time.

Smile Cheap Ribbon

www.jkmribbon.com

I got this link from someone on this site. I haven't ever ordered from it, but it looks FANTASTIC! I remember them saying that a Customer Service Person confirmed that this is the exact ribbon that SU uses. They seem to have WAAAAY more colors though!

Good Luck!

I just have to add that I love this site. I think the prices are good, the ribbon is good quality (beetter than michaels imho) amd Debbie is very helpful. Shipping is also very low. Great ribbon club too.

This is where I have order from before. It is exactly the same as SU! Gotta buy a big spool though.

For grosgrain I use ******************.com I can get 5 yards of grosgrain in over 80 colors for about 0.90/roll. 100 yards at 9.95. Also, if I place my order by 2 pm, I have it the next day. They also have a wide selection of Swiss Dot and other patterned ribbons.

For organdy ribbons, I use Pouchmart.com. They sell their 7/8" for about 2.79/roll of 25 yards, and 3/8" for about 2.19/roll of 25 yards.

I love hearing where you all get your ribbons from - I am a ribbon nut and love to "collect" all sorts.

Thanks for the sharing all the great sites.

I like www.papermart.com

How about $4.18 for a 50-yd. roll of 7/8" organza or $2.35 for a 25-yd. roll?

Here's the link to its ribbon page, but you can also get tons of other cool stuff:
