So I am DONE with my Christmas cards! WAHOOO! I did about 75 this year and I ended up only doing 25 of the shaker ones. Most of the rest were a glitter window card. Anyhow, I totally don't want to stamp for like, at least.....a few HOURS, lol! So post here and let out your whoop of joy when you are done making your Christmas cards!
I made about 75 cards, six different designs and ten from a one sheet wonder. They are all in the mail. I am sooooo happy it is all done for this year. Now to start planning for next year. It will be here before we know it.

Oops I mailed them all out! DUH forgot to take a pic- but I cased them from the catty- they were the sample for the reindeer prints stamp set with minor variations!

Here are the two main ones I did the most of...
And such beautiful cards they are............but what a lot of work....whew!
(LOL........very funny, don't wanna stamp for at least a few hours! )
Congrats to you Emily, that's a big sigh of relief when your cards are done.
I'm putting my stamped tiles and mini legal pads in their respective stamped gift bags (I just couldn't do the bag-alope) and I'm almost done!
I got all my cards out last week ;) That was a really good feeling. I have a few extra cards left for those folks I've inevitably forgotten.
Here are mine, and the links to the cards that inspired me, however if you look at the inspiration you will see they are much cuter there than my rendition . . . maybe someday I'll be good enough to CASE so the cards will look like what I am CASING
I've made about 70. I'm not sure if I'm done, though... depends on whether or not I see more here that I want to case! LOL! This year I did things differently... I did come up with 2 of my own designs. One of them I only made one of and the other I made 9 of. The other 60 were cased/tweaked. I must have about 30 different designs made up! It's been so fun just playing around casing Christmas cards!
I didn't take a picture of mine, but they were done in November and mailed out DECEMBER 1st all 35 of them (family ones)! Mailed out very few actual cards to customers- the others got emails with the "gift".
That was a first time ever for me! I was so proud of myself. GLOAT GLOAT.
Last year I had a one month old son and got them all in the mail the 19th 20th maybe.
Girls, your cards are all beautiful!!! Doesn't it feel great to be finished?
I finished 55 cards and mailed all but three. Sure hope I don't receive more unexpected ones than that! I'd sure hate to start all over again now that I have moved on to other Christmas projects.
The metallic gold cardstock and embossing didn't photograph well!! Sorry!
Lynn, I love the brads and ribbon, that is a great embellishment for a bunch of cards. I will have to remember that, oh, and I am having print pattern envy of your card . . .I want that background! (Saga continued in other thread)

I finished mine before the baby arrived. I only made 30 - 10 each of 3 designs - and I kept them pretty simple. I put them all in my gallery - here are the links to them: (hopefully i did this right)

Emily, I love your colors, and how brave to do those 25 shakers!!
Kristina, I love that Paint Prints poinsettia one.
Nicole, what a gorgeous card, are those your daughters?
Lynn, that must have taken forever with all of those different parts, stamps, backgrounds, distresssing, brads....I love that card!!
Amy, I vote for #2 also!
I joined the Christmas card challenge in February and finished my cards way early. And, as a bonus, I won the GRAND PRIZE drawing!!! What's the grand prize? I have no idea, but I won it, and it's free, so who cares??
Here's mine. I made 100, they are all the same, though next year, I'm going to do no more than 10 of any one design, just for fun. Mine is a trifold card. On the inside, blank bottom is where a photo is going to go, held on with photo corners.
Whoooooo-Hooooooo! I finished tonight, but luckily only did about 30. My DH helped with some of them this week, and he actually asked me tonight if I needed some more help. I think he is getting into this - well, at least while it's too cold to golf or fish!
All I have to do now is sign my John Hancock, stuff some envelopes and run to the Post Office to get them sent away. I am not really ready to part with them yet, but at least I have photos to remember them by! If I love them a whole whole lot, I send them to peope I know I can sneak them back from. haha
Mine are all uploaded in my gallery at some point, although tonight's work is slow to be approved.
Hope you all have great holidays. I am approaching my 1st anniversary as a Splitcoaststamper, and it truly has been a wonderful experience to look forward to each day. When I am away, I really miss it.
I am very much looking forward to another year of fun and creative expression with my fellow SCSers!

Here are my two designs.
I am totally casing your tag card! I love it! I will be tweaking it to make it into a graduation announcement/invitation for my daughters high school graduation
Awesome about winning the card challenge grand prize! I totally want to do that this year....but I always want to see what the new christmas sets are first, loL! Especially cause I don't like any that are out right now!
YOU all did a fantastic job! How many shakers Emily! OMG!
I have to do over 300 cards - so we get a photo card. We actually save one from every year to see how the kids have changed - how my hairstyles have changed over the years. (Which is actually pretty funny)....
I am making a few cards for some of the special people in our lives....
yeah, I know. A severly misguided idea. It took me 3 hrs per 10 shakers. Not a worthwhile idea when you need to make about 70, lol! So I switched to the glitter window, still time consuming, but not nearly as bad!
I did about 50 cards in 5 or 6 different styles. My friend and I got together 3 times on a Friday night and we would make 20 a one card together, until we reached 100 cards. Then we split them up 50/50 and we were both done, and we had fun the whole time!
Here are a couple of the cards we made:

I actually finished mine (stamped 20 for friends and family, with family photos) then am cheating random other people on my card list by sending out cards I got in a swap with my hostess group for the rest...will post my invention tonite when I get home from work.
BTW, does anyone know the going postage rate for 6x6 in vellum envelopes? I have to mail out Monday, but don't want to have to pay like 3 million dollars...
Finished these last night. I have done a few variations of the same card...different ribbon, inks colors, hardware, etc. I made 50, but really should make more. Although....I do have some cards leftover from last Christmas. Hmmm...perhaps the new people on my card list my get last year's card. ;)
Here's mine! I modified it some. I used brighter greens and purples. I also didn't cut out the little swirl on the first ornament, that was too much work. I only foam-mounted the middle ornament on the mass-produced ones.
Here's the original prototype: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I wish I had kept track of how long these took though. It took a long time to watercolour all those ornaments, then add glitter in a precise manner. I made 40 of these, and inside it says: "We wish to share the glitter of the holiday season with you. May the sparkles shine all year!"
I finally finished mine this morning. I only had to make 45 cards. seemed like 450. This is the first time I have ever made my own christmas cards. I am still new to the card scene. Can any one tell me how I can put my card on here to show every one. I have never done it before. Thanks!!
Oh my gosh! After looking at all of your cards, I have to retract my "I'm done" statement. I've just got to case some of these!
Heidi, no that's not a picture of my daughters (I only have 2 daughters). It's a photo-realistic rubber stamp - I kid you not! It's called Five Sisters and is made by Stampsmith (www.stampsmith.net). I made one of those cards for each of MY 5 sisters.
Colleen - Thank you! Case away! But make sure you post so we can all see it!
