They may have asked for a ss # for my hubby (the insurance holder) but I know his # by heart. I'd also be weery of having that info on the pictures. but that's just me.

Come to think of it, we just had my daughter to the Dr yesterday (double ear infections) and although there was a space for the SS #, I didnt fill it in. I dont know either of their numbers by heart.

In the area I live in, you cannot even sign kids up for baseball, soccer without birth certificates, and ss #. Why, I don't know. But if the space is there to be filled out, I have the info handy.

It is really cold here, and us Texas girls don't care for cold. Not helping with the motivation to get anything done.

Hmm. I dont know, but I guess it works for them. Mine dont play sports (yet), I only have a dancer. LOL so it could be they ask for it here too, and I just dont know.

Cold here too. And the wind has been blowing all night. 36 degrees right now, but it's going to be in the mid 20s tonight.

Last night my hubby and I were watching Alaska:The final Frontier. Well this woman and her son were trapsing around in knee high snow, across 6 acres, in the DARK looking for a newborn calf. They finally did find it. Well, I turned to my husband, as I am all bundled up trying to keep warm and said "Well, not to be rude, but if it was me havig to go out in that snow, that poor little guy would have froze!" I dont like snow. Hate it. When it does snow I go out as far as the front step, take pictures of the kids and go right back inside!!!!!

PS I love your "organized people..." saying!!!

Cool

Hey Gina,

Snow is a oddity here in east Texas, so when we do get some of any depth people go crazy. They rev the engines of the big trucks, just to see how far they will "slide". I am with you, snow is pretty for a couple of hours, then I am ready for it to be gone.

In fact, I have a few pictures from the last snow here, I need to do a layout.
Maybe it will keep any future snowstorms away. lol

Thanks Cathy,

It's a slow day here at work, looking at recipes, dreaming of four long hours before I blow this ER, and take a couple of days off.

Any Valentine ideas?

A 1 3/4" circle opening sounds more like a regular size cupcake, not a mini. Cupcakes are a great idea since i don't know anyone who uses the K-Cup coffees. Very cute Valentine idea.

I made one of these and the hole would be too small for a regular size cupcake but I think a mini would fit. You could always adjust the size of the hole punch to match the size of the cupcake.

Not workn anything crafty at present....painted one of my FILs rooms yesterday. It was supposed to be a just me project, but my children and hubby helped out and actually it was kind of fun! The kids (5 1/2 and 8 1/2) had never painted before, so it was a fun learning experience. And I got done a lot faster which was awesome! And even better, he paid me to do it so now I have some crafting money!! Yeah!!!!

Cool

So sorry everyone, my house is in shambles, I may have to live out of guest quarters for a few weeks. My craft room got totally torn apart, but I am slowly sifting through the rubble, throwing away, re organizing. It's going to make creating anything for Valentine's really difficult, but I will rise above it all, and see what I can do. We are having old paneling ripped out, walls repaired, ceilings scraped. If I work back in my room while the workers are there, maybe a high from all the chemical and paint fumes will give me a creative high.

I just wish I could just get everything put neatly away, and stay that way.

Here is a man's dresser box that I altered and sold at one of my Christmas bazaars. It was the first thing to go within 5 mins of the sale opening.

Hey Mary,

Very cute idea, I am looking for something for my grandson's classes to do during their Valentine parties. I thought stamping some images and doing all the cutting, let them make a Valentine to take home. I know the girls would like that project.

This is absolutely gorgeous!! How much were you able to get for it?
It looks like an antique.

Thanks Diane, I purchased the box at a thrift store for $5.00, add on the paint paper and embellishments, it cost me about $7.00 in all and I sold it for $30.00 (quite a profit).

Cool

Hope everyone's Valentine projects went smoothly. I did some really nice looking trays and cookies, but I was scrambling to get out of my house so the paint guys could start spraying the texture on the walls and ceiling, and forgot my camera. I was going to post pictures and recipes on my blog. Oh well, better luck next time.
