Here is something you could put into the jars:

Hot Cinnamon Milk mix RECIPE | Craftaholics Anonymous

You could also put hot cocoa mix in it or anything like cookies, cakes, etc in a jar type recipe.

I'm wondering if anybody can help me...at the end of the summer Superstore was selling the icebreakers candy for a really great price, so I bought quite a few. They are the ones in the little round plastic container. I'm wondering what I might do with them to sell at a craft fair....I'm TERRIBLE at coming up with ideas!

TIA

Check your local Goodwill/thrift stores, too, Margaret. Mine always have TONS of candlesticks. I like the idea of using the crystal/cut glass ones!

Love the pincushion, already downloaded my pattern. Ya'll are doing a great job here, I got a new kindle, and I have been learning how to use it. Technology has never been my strong suit.

Here is a cute bag, she uses it for a small diaper bag but you could use it for whatever you needed it for:

Thank goodness this thread is for NEXT Christmas, Mary, because you just have to stop putting all these wonderful ideas in my pretty head! lol

On a side note...I wish someone would have made one of these for me when we adopted my son! He was three so I didn't need a diaper bag, but I hated carrying around a loose "just in case pull-up" in my purse. This would have been great to disguise it.

tat2girl...won't that make a cute gift for a "grandma-to-be"?? I know some of this stuff I post is more than just Christmas, but some of it is just too cute/good to not pass along!

Maybe we should rename this thread...All Year Long Gift Ideas...

Went to Savers ( a HUGE resale chan store) to check for candlesticks - found only one - but did find 6" crystal look bud vases for $1.00 each - grabbed the 8 they had - which I use for the bases - can't wait to get started on them!!!

Hey Mommyspencer,

Those round containers are a good shape to work with. Use a scallop punch and circles to put a label on top of the candy, maybe wrap in clear cellophane, tie off with ribbon, look like a large piece of holiday candy.

Could also put the labels on the container, attach ribbon to the back, make a ornament to hang on a tree.
