I purchased mine at our local Lowe's store. It is called galvanized rolled flashing and the roll I get is the 10"x10' roll that is only around $8.

Tuesday bump....I made a couple of those baked potato bags and they really do work! I just used one 9"x14" piece of cotton fabric and one 9"x14" piece of cotton flannel, and didn't use any cotton batting. I used some material that I've had for sometime now, so the cost was next to nothing to make these. You can see the ones I made on my blog. The size I made is perfect for one potato or for a single person to use.

Made more of those bake potato bags over the week-end (7 to be exact), they are so easy and fast to make. Here is a link to a video you can watch that shows how to cook in one:

scroll down to click on video.

Here is the link to the directions that I use to make mine:

Found full sized comp notebooks at Walmart for 25 cents each. Nicely made as well. SOooo happy. Bought every one that they had (about 30). Now I've got to get to work. Still looking for the mini comp books - no Dollar Tree around here - but thanks to all who mentioned that. Online Dollar Tree only sells the full sized ones.

Mary, I have actually never made them before, but I think the Christmas Peeps are available at most stores (Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreen's, etc.) once the Christmas candy is stocked. If I am unable to find the snowmen, I will use Christmas tress or whatever they have...

Tammy....GO TIGERS!!! My husband and youngest daughter both graduated from Columbia College and than my oldest and I both attended Columbia College. My whole family are huge Tiger fans! We get down to Columbia at least once a year, in fact the youngest lives in Columbia and has ever since she left high school for college.

Hey everybody,

My grandson's daycare was closed last week, so we had to throw ourselves on the mercy of my daughter to help supervise. So between the full time job, extra coverage (overtime pay), home renovations, and two active little boys I was dead on my feet by noon last Friday. Had to take call this weekend, which is a real drag. But now, boys are home, house is quiet, remodeling be done tomorrow, and I am going to watch the CBS Monday lineup in my scraproom.

And let's hope no one messes with my plans. lol

So many of these ideas will be great to use with the logo stamps I have.

Here are a few favorites that were created with them. I think they can be adapted for so many of the ideas posted.

I got the comp notebooks at Target but missed out at WalMart. When I was there this weekend they were 75 cents. Oh well. Walgreens has the mini comp books for 45 cents right now, but watch their ad because they will have a coupon soon and they will be cheaper with the coupon. Same with all of their school stuff.

Hey All! I picked up the mini comps yesterday as well. I did not get the regular sized ones because I know I can get them for 99 cents somewhere. I will be out today to stop at Wal-Mart and Office Depot (I think that is where I got them for 99 cents last year).

Nice job Mary! I have made a bunch for the nieces and nephews for Christmas this year......probably 1/2 of the kiddos won't appreciate them. But, let it never be said that I did not try to be a good Auntie.

Cindy,

Good to see you back, I saw the tutorial, and it looks fairly uncomplicated (famous last words), and would be a cute holiday gift.

I am going to get started, really.
