Rainy and stormy here too. Can't get out into the gardens so, will have to work on things inside.....hmmmm......not sure what yet.

Haven't been in the card making mode for a long, long time. On my last chipboard book album....sanding the edges on some of these are taking so long, especially the scalloped square one! I made 12 and will post them when I am finished.

I know I want each of the nieces and nephews to have one for Christmas this year. That way they can put their favorite photos in them. Not sure if the 2 boys will like them or not.....may choose to do something different for them. One will be 12 the other will be 8. I might make something related to Cub Scouts for the 8 year old and something related to music and acting for the other one. Anyone have any great ideas?

Been thinking about doing a craft show in the fall....only thoughts at this time though.

Just 17 more days until I board the plane for Key West.

Any scrapbooking shops in Key West?

Hopefully I will have enough entertainment there, but I never know, I bore easily.

These are so cute! What great little "gifties" - and they stand on their own!

I used to have a printable template for one that is similar, but the shape wasn't as cute as this one - more like a french fry box!

Maybe she used a "clean" fry box for a template! I know Sizzix sells a fry box die.

Glad you like the purse! Just trying to help find fun things that people can make to give at Christmas!

Been so busy with life that I have not been able to get on here to surf or comment. Son went to Prom, that was monumental, working on gardens, finishing college course and cleaning up basement (when it rains). Now we have to get him to graduation and hopefully next week we will find out about his first job! We are all so excited for him!!!

I was able to finish sanding the 12 - 8 page chipboard books I made for Teacher and Christmas gifts. Now I just have to make up a bunch of journaling tags and decorate the fronts, add a few ribbons and we are ready for gifting!! Will post pics when finished.

Hope everyone is well!

Hey Cindy,

Sounds like life is going great for your son. My grandsons are finding baseball is not all about chewing bubblegum, and looking cute in a uniform.
I have so many projects started, just not enough time to get anything monumental accomplihed, and Christmas will be rolling in before we know it.

Here are some cute fabric flowers that you can make with poly-satin fabric and a heat gun, if you know someone who likes to accessorize their outfits:

These darling baby booties may not be a Christmas gift idea, but thought they were too cute not to share with you all. I am definitely keeping this pattern around for baby showers and baby gifts! http://www.lovebugscrapbooking.com/f...pic.php?t=5043

Glad I could help. You could market them to the new moms; grands & aunts, etc. Oh and don't forget about the God moms. I'm finding that there isn't much out there for them. Hallmark is seriously missing an opportunity there. Digressed sorry. But you could do them in blue and pink or shades thereof or even white with neutral's on them for the baby on the way kind of thing.

Good luck with them.

Hey Guys,

All my bags are packed, I am ready to go.

C'mon sing along with me.

I gotta go make a card before I go, the birthday person, as I have been told, is "depressed". Well, just get in line with everyone else is what I think, but I will make a nice card.

Mary, the tutorial from the stampshack lady is a friend of mine, she makes the Founders Circle, and gets cruises every year from Stampin Up.

Because I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again.

You don't really want to hear me sing

I am home, Key West was okay, probably got enough decent pictures to do a small scrapbook.

What is everyone doing? I bought a basket at WallyWorld, now got to get busy, and fix my gs teacher end of school gift.

Where I was in Florida, it was three hrs from the nearest WalMart. How do those people survive?
