Cool Help with Leaving FOR Vegas

This is going to sound weird but I am leaving for Vegas on a vacation with my husband AND I WANT TO PACK SOME STAMPS!!!!! Here's why: This is a convention for him and he will be gone for most of the day. We are 17 miles outside of Vegas so I can't walk around the strip (don't know if I want to alone anyway). We will be at a resort with pool, spa, golf and all BUT I burn, don't have $ for massage and can't golf.... SOOOO I want to enjoy my days being alone and stamping!

Now here's my Stamping Related General Discussion question:

How do I pack for this? I don't have time to precut and stamp, I don't like to just color in..... soooo what are your ideas? I just bought notecards, colorbox chalk inks and aqua painters thinking this could help in some way, I just can't figure it out on my own! Maybe if I had a few hours just to pack stamps but I don't between, packing for 5, school carnival meetings, making meals for family members under the weather, laundry, getting my house ready for company when I return......... (and here I sit on SCS).

I am thinking of not bringing clothes so I can bring more supplies.... this could also help me with my husband and evening activities.... HA!HA!HA!

PLEASE HELP ME!
Amy

You might want to check into renting a car....there are some great stamp stores in Vegas. Go to gingerlinks.com and check out Stamp Stores by State.

I can't help you with what to pack, as I haven't ever taken my stamps on vacation. But, since you don't like 'coloring'....I agree, take the wheels and some cardstock and try new color combos.

Oh cool thanks! I will check out the scrapbook stores. I am thinking of also taking my Simply Scrapping kits, then I could do scrapbooks and cards.

I just came back on Sunday from Vegas. Daytime temps range from high 60's to the 80's and evenings can get cool. Layers are best with a light jacket for evenings. Have a great trip.
