Hi Everyone...I am going on a "little" shopping day in Lancaster, PA. If anyone knows of any local store that sells stamps or scrapbook supplies I will be very grateful if you shared the information. I have 2 or 3 in the area that I am going to but since this will be my vacation this year I'm looking for a good, solid shopping day!
Whenever possible, please list store name and full address. Any help you can provide will be most appreciated.
Hi Denise,
There is a rather long thread somewhere with just the info you are looking for from a few months back.
Rubberbuggy Stamping store is only going to be open a few more days , but stop if you can. It is on the road to Ronks just past the Outlets. There are also a few Amish shops just past there.
The Craft Warehouse is close enough and loads of stuff. Let me find you some links, be right back...
OK
Rubberbuggy is open til next week.Go past Rockvale outlet on Rt . 30to 896. make a right toward Strasburg, go 1&1/2 miles. It is in the back of Wall to Wall Flooring on the right side of road.
Flower & Craft Warehouse is in Blue Ball. Take Rt. 30 to 23 E 13 miles. to 322 R. to Broad St.
In York- Stampede
In Elizabethtown(also going out of business) Scrapbooks and Papercrafts on Market Street in the middle of town.
In Hershey(not many stamps, but lots of paper, and etc)
Times to Remember- at the outlets right by Hershey Park
Here are 3 stores I can think of that weren't mentioned above. All of these stores are in Lancaster County, but they're pretty far apart. There is also a list of Mennonite run stamping stores in the thread someone listed above. Have fun shopping!
Lititz - Pages in Time (mostly scrapbooking with a few clear stamps) Has lots of paper, some embellishments, Glimmer Mist http://www.pagesintimescrap.com/
Ephrata - L & L Rubber Stamps (run out of a Mennonite women's house) PB, HM, TK, stickles, paper, CB embossing folders, Prismacolor pencils, nesties, etc - I'd call to make sure she's open before visiting though. 717-445-8416
Mount Joy - Paper Place on Main (scrapbooking, although I have heard that they're getting a few stamps - haven't been there in a while) Lots of paper, some embellishments and some ribbon. http://www.paperplaceonmain.com/
I'll take a look at them on the map and see which I'll be able to acutally get to. We'll mainly be in the "Dutch Wondelrand" area, if you know where I'm talking about. Ronks was barely a town over, although we won;t be there for another 2 weeks, so scratch that store off the list since it closes this week. :(
Thanks for all of the effort! I'm looking forward to a fun little shopping excursion, but need to make sure there's enough to go to for the trip to be worthwhile.
One last thing...in the event any of you has the last Brandi so generously offered would you be willing to email it to me in case she's a busy girl? If you could share I'd really appreciate it. Feel free to PM me and I'll send you me email address. thanks again all!
There is a Michael's and an A.C. Moore at the intersection of Route 30 and 501. Route 30 is the road which Dutch Wonderland and the outlets are one. Even though they are chain stores, both of them have wonderful stamping and scrapbooking sections. They are worth taking a look at. They are both in the same shopping plaza, just across the parking lot from each other.

Thanks for the info! We have Jo-Anns, AC Moore, and Michaels here and I suspect they probably carry the same stuff in PA, but will check them out, too. Thanks for taking the time to let me know about them!
Fancy That in Hummelstown is pretty cool. She doesn't carry a lot of stamps, but has a lot of different papers and other accessories to choose from. She carries a lot of the big names.

Have fun on your shopping day.
Thanks so much! Unfortunately, we won't be going West of Lancaster "proper." Next time though!
RUBBERBUGGY is actually open until July 26th so if you are in the area of the Rockvale Outlets you might want to stop in - no telling if Kris has a lot or a little still left...she made her decision she would have to close several weeks ago & her regulars were aware.
Have fun!
Kitty
Kris is also having a BIG discount on her stamps and things so I would definetly go there. Just remember most of these local stores are closed on Sundays, except for the Craft Warehouse, and they also close at 5PM
