Default Kudos to Joann's

I recently got a new lamp at Joann's (thanks for the help guys picking)

I went to send the link to a friend to show them what I got, happy that I got it half off-only to discover it was 30 dollars less than I paid for it a week earlier....

So I emailed them and pointed out all major retailers stand behind mark downs like that and can I please have that difference?

After one email saying they do it IF it is within 7 days and was the same format (online to online or store to store) and me coming back with well it WAS 7 days, online to online...I got radio silence so I shrugged and figured I was outta luck. Be happy with the 50% off.

But today, 10 days later, I got an email-they gave it to me.

So kudos to them and lesson that nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Yep. And tonic was super responsive when I pointed out I had two packages of their lovely mirror card with different names and codes but they were the same color and they are in the process of moving.

I am finding it is very rare in this industry that you dont get an answer...although the big retailers might be less successful.

Joann has really speeded (?) up their delivery time. Instead of 2 weeks it's now about 1.
Tremendous selection and frequent 40% off AND often free or very low shipping, keep me shopping there.

I had had some problems with them a few years back that I had reported. I was buying lot of stickles and other low priced embellies on deep sale...turned out they had a limit on the number of items in an order!! What? Who does that? It was a big mess. The cart froze and I could not take stuff out of it or use it, and they had trouble fixing it-in the end they took the order over the phone after deleting the whole cart, and she had to break the order into two and manually give me the free ship on the second. I did back away after that for awhile.

Only fair I say when they get it right.

Ditto to what harvestmoon messaged. I also was able to get the Ottlite I wanted at 40% off and free shipping. Joann has definitely up their game when it comes to customer
service.

I started to say that's great news, and good to hear. I stopped ordering from Joann's ages ago because the delivery time was ridiculous. Now that I think about it though, this is baaaad news! I saved a gazillion dollars when I unsubscribed to their emails and quit buying tons of stuff because of their great sales. lmbo
