I guess we need to do some figuring before we make a choice, girls. Basically we will get about $59 worth of stamping supplies in the $99 kit. The rest is business supplies. Also no free set of stamps.

If we go that route, then order what else we need, stamps sets and such as our first workshop order then that will be credited to our first quarterly minimum, and we will get the 30% off. That's a plus. The downside would be that we have to pay the shipping and tax, right?

The $199 kit has over $300 worth of stamping supplies, and we will get an additional free stamp set. That is a big plus!
Downside on this one is that there are some things in the kit that cannot be substituted for our personal preferences and the kit doesn't count toward our first quarterly minimum.
Anyone else have some thoughts about this?

The regular price is $21.95, but with the sale it will be $18.66.

the shipping will make it about the same if I wait so i might get this 199 kit and get a freebie!!

I saved enough to sign up for 199...and I have more saved for my first order 30% off

luckily we have a week to do the numbers and such!! and luckily we don't have tax here in NH so that helps.

You should be able to substitute another $21.95 set in the larger kit.

In the $199 kit, can't you substitute all the stamp sets and the ink pads for equal or lesser value or did that change? I know that some of the things you can't substitute, but I thought that all of those things you could.

Yes. I think she was asking if the "substitute" price would be $21.95 or the sale price of $18.66.

Hmmm...that's weird that there's no asterisk on that one. I wonder if it's a mistake? The info must have been typed from the back of the new catalog, because I can't find it on the SU website.

they think they are human! one of them is a mini dachshund and sometimes I will put her in a basket with a blanket and take her upstairs to my craft room to hang out with me while I stamp. The other one is a full size and more independent. Doesn't think he needs mom as much. lol
