Default Kissing technique.....?

Got this email via my blog today, and enjoyed the laugh:

Dear Editor,

My name is Jenn, and Iím a writer at Jen Reviews. I was doing research on kissing and just finished reading your wonderful blog post: http://www.dinakowalcreative.com/2012/11/fall-mitten.html

In that article, I noticed that you cited a solid post that Iíve read in the past: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/kissing_technique/

I just finished writing a guide that is even more detailed, updated and comprehensive on 14 amazing benefits of kissing, according to science. It also includes 11 kissing tips.

If you like the guide, weíd be humbled if you cited us in your article. Of course, we will also share your article with our 50k newsletter subscribers and followers across our social platforms.

Either way, keep up the great work!

Warmly,
Jenn

She obviously has an interesting definition of reading I wonder what her 50k newsletter readers would make of an article on rubber stamping?!

Omgosh!! That cracked me up!!! Which I needed with the day I am having.
I had the same thought as Joanne re reading.

We could get another 50K (or 10) new stampers here! 50K might be a lot to ask of Lydia and the teams to process.

That is so funny. I've had odd emails from those sort of people in the past, and it amuses me that the fact they are talking about something completely different just tells us it's a load of cobblers, and that they really haven't read anything at all. !

My MIL got a voicemail this week that was really for my FIL and it said "if he didn't contact the sheriff's department at this number immediately the sheriffs would show up at his door to arrest him"...

.... ummm sure go ahead, he's dead! We had a good laugh about how we should have called the number and given them the cemetery address and tell them to go ahead and try to arrest him.

p.s. We would never actually call the number, we know better. It was just fun to joke about it.

My husband has a friend/work colleague who was stupid enough to pay the IRS scam. Guess she was paranoid because she's always behind on bills and stuff (and wastes money shopping and eating out) so she probably was dumb enough to think it was real because of that.

My husband and I each get a message on our cellphones once a week that says there are multiple warrants out for our arrests. This has been going on for a year despite adding a screening app to my phone. I looked up the number and apparently if you send them $45 all is forgiven.

At least it caused a bit of a giggle along with the usual eye-rolls over stupid spam.

I do feel for the poor souls who cave for this pathetic garbage.

Every time I see or even think about doing this technique, I will get the giggles from now on.

I can see how people fall for the scams. My MIL is so worried about protecting her late husband's memory and reputation, she even said, "what if there was an account we didn't know about". We had to assure her that is was a common theft tactic and she would have received multiple please pay notices by mail first. We Also explained that thieves don't usually do this because federal fraud laws would then automatically apply if they are caught.

I feel for those of you who have your own business with a website. The stories I have heard from friends trying to figure out legit business vs fraud attempts is so horrifying and sad. Scammers are a very bold, no fear bunch.

Hilarious! I do believe, though, that the stamping technique could be listed as a benefit of kissing!

If these scammers could use their "skills" for something good instead of evil - imagine what wonderful things we could accomplish in this world!

A common British expression, probably doesn’t carry very well

Cockney rhyming slang = cobblers’ awls and you can probably get the rhyme and the corresponding anatomical reference!

I like the original definition. I read a lot of Brit mysteries so this cracked me up.
