Default Jumbo wheel ???

Has anyone bought an empty cartridge and filled it with versamark to use? I want to use my jumbo wheels for scrapping 12x12s but can't get all the SU! colors. What do you do?????

TIA,
~janice

I have done versamark in both large and regular size wheels. They work fine.

You can always ink your wheel by rolling it on your ink pad. I did this with my Square Pegs jumbo wheel for the favors for my DD's frst birthday party. If you ink it well, I think it would last across a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock. You just have to re-ink your wheel, so it's not as convenient as the ink cartridge. I wonder when SU will offer all the colors for the jumbo wheel...???

Auntytriss, yes I agree about using your ink pad. I've always gotten away with just using my ink pads when I'm making cards. My friend and I experimented alot with trying to make it work for 12x12 but it's hard to match up the images when it stops half way.

Maybe the wheel guide would help... ANyone know about that??

Thanks,
~janice

I've used Versamark and its work great! I do not recommend using the Versamark Pad for anything larger than a card as the wheel does NOT stay inked and it is impossible to line up the images even with the Wheel Guide. HTH!

Default versamak large cartrige

I did this because I needed it for the big wheels I had. I started slow and filled the cartrige a little at a time to allow it to sink in well. Then left it overnight and checked again the next morning and added more. I used not quite 1/3 of the bottle for the jumbo cartrige.

Versamark refill worked fine. Just go slow in filling the cartridge and use a sortof massaging circular motion as you do it. I store it in a zip lock baggie and it doesn't seem to dry out as fast. HTH.
