My name starts with D and its also my user name.
I uploaded my first card to SCS in 2010.
I love making 3d paper flower cards and coloring critters.

We did not get snow yesterday, but LOTS of cold rain. There was snow near us. My friends were posting pictures on Facebook with "Merry Palm Sunday"

yes indeed, i do challenges. my favorites are CAS, TLC, MIX, and IC. The CC is the hardest for me, need more than just colors, so if I do it, I combine it.

I like organic.

i have a sweatshirt with that Latin quote on. I took four years of Latin in HS, remember very little. but I like words and derivations, so that is why I took it.

I like LOTR too, but I haven't read all of the books. When I was younger, I couldn't get into them. Saw the movies; LOVED them! Now that I understand more of the allegory, I may try to read them eventually. My stack of books to be read is always growing!

Kathy, one thing you can try...go into a challenge chat thread and look at who posts. If the person is already a DD, it will show under her name in her avatar. It's a bit of a long shot...

I first tried reading The Hobbit in 7th grade. Then The Fellowship of the Ring. I skimmed through parts of both. I just wasn't ready for it, I guess.

CC is actually my favorite, though I often enjoy combining it with the sketch, if I am in a hurry. It's like having half the work done for me! LOL
