I have a few boxes (50 each) of transparency film left from years ago when I was doing presentations at work/grad school. Now that we have upgraded to PowerPoint and LCD projectors there is very little need for them. I have some for InkJet Printers and others for Laser Printers/Copiers. I am hoping you very creative folks may have some ideas on how to use these for cards or another stamping projects. I have a fairly new stamper so I need the basics, what type of ink, etc.
I use mine as window sheets for all kinds of cards; print verses on them and layer onto cards or journaling on scrapbook pages; stamp images on them and attach to card/scrapbook page in reverse for mirror images...
I am sure there are more uses for them - I just can't think of any more off the top of my head!
Hope that gets your thinker thinking!

You can also print backwards (or mirror-imaged) on it (using the "best" quality of printing, so it uses the most ink), let it dry really good, then rub it onto cardstock with a coin or spoon or something to use it as a transfer.
<edited to say, be sure to print on the smooth side, not the textured side...and you can re-use it over & over>
I use them for templates, windows, smackin' accetate, stencils, overlays, and they could probably be used with the thing-a-mig, or what-ever the stamp lining up tool is called.

You can stamp on them with Staz-On ink or, alternately, stamp with Versamark or pigment ink and heat emboss your image with embossing powder (careful not to hold the heat gun too close so it doesn't scorch) and then add glitter on the backside of your image with Crystal laquer (clear liquid adhesive). It gives a really nice result
Here's a trick if you want to emboss on a transparency: cover a piece of cardboard with foil and put your transparency on it while embossing. The powder will melt much more quickly and you won't scorch your paper (works with vellum, too).
Transparency's also great to make shakers and to use with the tissue paper technique, as mentioned before.
