Smile Iris folding and watermelons! I am hooked!

I was so inspired by Kristi's watermelon, I had to come up with my own. I tried Iris folding for the first time without a template, because I couldn't wait and my printer was broken. Here is my first attempt. I made a mistake and probably should have used one color, but anyway, here it is and tell me what you think!

C'mon, tell me what you think and if I should have used just one color?

I think your watermelon is beautiful. I like how you embellished it with crystal effects.

Take care, Brenda

what a cute idea-I do think it might look more watermelon-y (LOL) with just all red, but I do think it is adorable!

Love teh psarkle bg with it-looks like the 4th of July picnic!

Thumbs up

Your card is very, very cute!
Your supplies say you used cardstock. Did you fold it or use a nice clean-cut edge? The cardstock wasn't too thick for the final result?
I like the idea that a person could use solid colored paper and stamp an appropriate image. Most of the origami paper I see for this technique is not my cup of tea!!
Thanks for posting!! Looks like fun!

Very nice - particularly if you did this without a pattern - way cool!
