Inspired by Nature look-alikes?
Does anybody know of any grassy-like stamp similar to the one in the Inspired by Nature set? I see a lot of cards using that grass stamp, but I am not able to buy stamps right now. I was in a bad accident in November, and I'm just now getting to where I might attempt a card or two. Broke both feet, an ankle, and one wrist. Ugh! But I've finally moved out of the wheelchair into a walker. It's painful, but with the Lord's help, I'll get there.
Anyhow, any leads? I love that stamp, but I'm not thrilled with the other one in the set so probably wouldn't buy it unless I found a steal......which I doubt. There must be something similar somewhere. I have all unmounted now, so bare rubber is even good for me.
Thanks!
Sandy

I have a rubber stamp by Great Impressions that is much shorter grass but similar in style to the Inspired by Nature grass. It is only about 2 x 2 1/2 but I like this stamp as well as the SU one. It is stamp #F388.

It's not a stamp, but this Cuttlebug embossing folder has tall blades of grass and looks great embossed on colored cardstock with a white core, lightly sanded. It also looks great embossed on white or cream cardstock with just the embossed parts lightly sponged with color.

Thought about trying to duplicate the grass effect with marker or brush?

I agree with you. I don't want to buy the set when I really only want the one stamp of the grasses. I hope someone knows of one similar to it. Thanks for asking that question.

Thanks!
Thanks everybody, and keep them coming. Some great ideas here! I'm gonna see if hubby can get me to Michaels or Joanns to look. I have not been to a store since the first week in November, so I'm a bit nervous to go out. Have to use a walker, and each step is work/pain, but thankful to be alive.
If my hand were more flexible right now, I might attempt painting some as mentioned in this thread. FREE is always good!

Look through the gallery for this set. You might just get inspired by both stamps! I just happen to be partial to purple coneflowers

Thanks again, everybody. I like the Zia ones, but since I use bare rubber, I hate to pay that much. I may just look out for a good deal on the original set. Made the mistake of looking at the gallery! Bad, bad, bad........

Never fails! I don't know how many stamps I "didn't like" that I ended up buying because of the gallery.

Maybe you've already found a good deal on Inspired by Nature as I did,
but the grass is much larger than I expected, so I still keep an eye out for grasses to use with my many floral stamps.
I just saw this set by Technique Tuesday Growing Wild
Since it's only a 3"x4" set, the grass will be much smaller.
