Default Inexpensive seasonal stamp sets at Walmart

I was in wally world today and saw a whack of Xmas themed stamp sets for $5 Cdn. There were alphabets and images.

The alphas that the store I was in had left were:
- brick letters with snow on top
- letters in snowflakes
- letters in hanging stockings
- candy cane letters
- letters in strings of Xmas lights
- letters in solid ornaments (I think....)

The image sets consisted of one larger stamp (maybe about 1.75" x 2.5" or so) with two smaller square stamps. All of them were colour-in type line images. The ones I can remember were a snowman, a Santa, an Etruscan-type reindeer, a poinsetta, and a Christmas tree.

The stamp sets were in a red cardboard display hanging on the side of an endcap in the crafting area. One of the alpha sets was sold out even though it was obvious the display had just recently been put out (some little plastic plugs still on the ends of the hooks the stamps were hung on). I wish I knew what it was!

I couldn't believe how inexpensive the stamp sets were, so had to share.

I am off to Walmart tomorrow night. Hope they have some sets left by then! On second thought, maybe I should go during my lunch hour.

Ooh! I was just there yesterday and steered clear of the craft dept! Guess I'll be going back tomorrow! Hey, for that price, you can't beat it, right?!

Was just in a Walmart today, and they only had 2 sets left, the snowmen and the stockings. They weren't even in the display, because it was sold out, they were just laying with a bunch of glittery poinsettias! :-)

Thanks so much for pointing these out Mel!!

My Wal-Mart has holiday patterned paper and card kits too. I thought the price was great and they had four different themes.

Ours didn't have the holiday paper. I guess I will have to take a look tomorrow morning when I hit walmart for the country living issue.

The east end Wmart had both patterned CS and some embellishment kits and pp kits, while the south side Wmart did not carry the patterned cs. I was terrible and picked up a cs pack to either make cards with (as if I need more Christmas cards) or possibly scrapbook about Xmas with (what a concept!).

I think it is funny that the last two sets were strewn haphazardly about the store. And woohoo, I finally get to instigate some enabling! At such a killer price, too!
