I'm a demo!
I have been lurking for a while, but had to jump in since I am brusting with excitement!
SU called tonight to clarify something on my demo kit order and then said that they are shipping it out tomorrow!! I have to admit that I mailed my paperwork on Wed but WOW is that fast.
Hope everyone else who signed up has the same great service!
Liz

Thanks so much for posting, Liz! Now I'm definitely going to call for my demo number tomorrow and not Wednesday, as I'd planned - maybe SU turned my application around quick like yours!
Congrats on your demoship!

wow!! that was fast!!
I sent mine in last week as well (the 28th!) I even got my demo to just remind them not to process untill Jan 1 - lucky for me they said they were not going to do any till then anyway!
I can't wait to get my # to check out the site!! I want to search all the cool stuff on there!! Oh - of course I can't wait to get my kit too but that is a few weeks away yet!
Good luck to all us demos = new & old!! 2005. here we come!!
now...on another note - my DH & I were resting (while DS took a 3 hour nap!!! 1st time ever!!) and of course I was thinking about what to order this month with the extra discount.....and he says to me "can you imagine how rich the people who own stampin up are?" Oh then he makes it worse and says "just think, with every $100 you spend, I bet $50 goes straight in thier pocket" - talk about a sad thought!!! He's right we are making them rich but hey that is the "circle of life" & if they didn't open such a great company think of how many sad, lonely, desprate to be creative (with stamps of course) woman there would be!! Haha!! just thought I'd share a few words my smart ***** hubby gave to me!!

As crazy as it sounds, putting the kit together was one of the hardest things I have done. I agonized over it. My upline finally reminded me that I WILL be able to order other things! After all that I kept prety close to what they suggested. I did get Crayon Kids as my extra, (I am a teacher) but now wish I got flexible phrases. Oh well, I will probably put in my first order before I even use half the stuff in the box!!LOL
Thanks for all the support you didnt even know you were giving!

I sent in mine on Friday. Hopefully I'll get mine soon! I've agonized over what to get too! I have a handful of stamps that I like, but they are retired. I ended up getting Everyday Flexible Phrases as my extra and then printed off the sheet of sayings from here. It was 15 pages, so I reorganized it down to 8 pages for a reference

That's great news! It gives me hope that I'll get mine soon too. My demo sent my stuff on Thurs (30th), and I just figured it would take a couple of weeks to get it. Maybe not! Yippee!!!

Congratulations! This is cause for great celebration!
I'd like to encourage those of you that are becoming official demonstrators to join the demonstrator only forums. It is a wonderful resource to talk "shop", get answers to questions regarding the biz end of being a demo'r or just bounce ideas off each other!
Best wishes in all your endeavors as you launch this new adventure!

They didn't have mine yet either this morning. She was so nice and said to try back later this afternoon after they get the mail in and process it. She said they don't mind us calling - that they get excited right along with us!

I have to be the most impatient
I have called twice a day for the last 2 days. My application was sent out on Monday this week priority mail and as of 4:00 pm CST it still wasn't in their system. I'm about ready to BURST!!!!! I can't stand the wait.
