Default IKEA

I'm heading to IKEA today. Any stamping "must-haves"?

Red face Mecca

I absolutely love IKEA! It is my Mecca. I always spend too much money there, but the problem is I live in Oklahoma and there are none around here. So I am so jealous.

By the way, what can you by for stamping at IKEA?

Smile ikea

Hi Bethany,

My daughter bought some mirrors in unfinished frames (which were made with about 4" wide flat pieces of wood). She then painted them with acrylic paint and then stamped on them with the SU craft paints. They turned out great! She said they were a very good buy.

Hey, I live in Oklahoma too!

A hot dog & frozen yogurt... I don't know if IKEA in the USA has them, but in Canada, you can get a great deal!!

Does Staz On work on Glass? Maybe pick up a vase or those little jars, you could stamp the name of spices with alphastamps? Pots from the garden section? Hmm... I have two within driving distance.. maybe I should head up there today... haha

Thanks for the tip! I think I actually have some of those very frames from my last trip to San Diego! I never thought to stamp on them! That would be so cute! Can you stamp with regular acrylic paint?

I already gone and gotten a wall-mounted CD slot rack that is great for holding SU stamp pads. They slide right in and are the perfect size taking up very little space.

IKEA is coming to Canton, MI., my hometown just west of Detroit!!! Summer of 2006!! They just tore down a Super Kmart to build it from scratch. Of course the traffic is going to be crazy!! I live about a mile and half from the store.

I just bought a little cabinet that had bin drawers in it. Hard to explain, but if you saw it, you'd know what I'm talking about Wasn't too bad... CAD$67 - you can get the bins in different size combos to suit your needs i.e. three shallow bins, or one deep bin and a shallow bin, or one deep, medium and shallow, etc. Very handy!

Cool! That can't be that far away from me. I'm in Ohio. It's better than having to drive to MD for IKEA.

You would head north on I-75 and then take I-275 north to the Ford Rd. exit. Turn left at the exit and it will be at the next light on your right. It is suppose to open summer of 2006. IKEA is all the buzz in Canton and in the papers weekly. It's going to bring a big boom to the area!!
